Marine0369 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 It's nice to see Roy trying to hit but I think Gerbe needs to teach him how to better use his size in that department. He needs to go low instead of high in order to get leverage. Good effort though.
Iron Crotch Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Goose. 2 minutes for nothing in particular.
njh2604 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Caps are practising for their perspective countries diving teams for the summer olympics..
Tyrannustyrannus Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Grags needs to go back and take some hitting lessons in his own end. I have yet to see him lay anyone out. He plays too soft. I haven't seen anything from Grags that I like. Maybe its why Erhoff looks so bad.
wjag Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Goose. 2 minutes for nothing in particular. He tripped him..
North Buffalo Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Get Grags out of there on this 4 on 4. Don't trust him defensively.
Kelly the Dog Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 It's just good to see a big guy in a sabres uniform go hard in a corner and hit somebody hard. And he's wearing the same number as the guy that scored the last goal.
... Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 The sloppy play of both teams is killing any flow that develops in this game. Overall, I am liking what I'm seeing from the kids. Should make going for a big trade easy.
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Grags needs to go back and take some hitting lessons in his own end. I have yet to see him lay anyone out. He plays too soft. Well, considering he has a total of 2 hits the entire season, that makes sense. Hit total: Ehrhoff, Sekera, Leopold, Myers, Gragnani 61 Total Regehr 59 Total
wjag Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Hard to believe this is the same team that played last night.
North Buffalo Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 I think Brennan and McNabb have more than those four.
Cereal Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Well, considering he has a total of 2 hits the entire season, that makes sense. Hit total: Ehrhoff, Sekera, Leopold, Myers, Gragnani 61 Total Regehr 59 Total Nice. I just wanted to say that, seeing these past three games, Sekera is definitely playing a LOT more physical in the defensive end. Good to see Kassian get his first goal, at home. Must have been a disappointing debut last night in Columbus, with his family and all there (not that he played terribly himself). Good to see an effort tonight, boys. Let's make it SIXTY minutes, please.
Tyrannustyrannus Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 I'm going to the game Tuesday. With the way Kassian, McNabb, Tropp, Szczh-whatever, and Brennan are playing, I'm dreading it less than I was this morning.
87168 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Hard to believe this is the same team that played last night. energy makes a huge difference. haha

thesportsbuff Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Grags needs to go back and take some hitting lessons in his own end. I have yet to see him lay anyone out. He plays too soft. He was never pegged as being a physical defenseman.. he isn't here to hit. And more importantly he doesn't have the frame to really "lay anyone out."
carpandean Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Hard to believe this is the same team that played last night. It's not; there are less Sabres on this team.
bunomatic Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 From visions of Stanley Cup to being reduced to excitement over an AHL line playing for the Sabres at the one quarter mark...ashame. I'll gladly take the future over the garbage we've been seeing for parts of this season.
wjag Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 So what has happened to OV's game? In the past he was a one-man wrecking ball.. He's been practically invisible tonight. Suspect he will be heard from before this is over. Need one more goal..
K-9 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 So what has happened to OV's game? In the past he was a one-man wrecking ball.. He's been practically invisible tonight. Suspect he will be heard from before this is over. Need one more goal.. They commented on the Caps broadcast that he's been nursing a wrist/hand injury. Still, his wheels don't look as fast as usual, either. GO SABRES!!!
pegs4mayor Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 I love the ahl guys I'm gonna have to hit up an amerks game
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 I like Kassian throwing shoulders....maybe he will get fiesty if the game is in hand. Sczsczscz is bringing hustle. Poor man's Paul Byron. I wonder if Roy is going straight to the Disco after the game?
