Robviously Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 SO nice to see some guys hitting and throwing their bodies around. I'm not surprised that it's the young call ups that are the ones doing it. So the Sabres best players are Vanek, Pominville, Enroth, Adam, and anyone from the AHL.
Marine0369 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Pretty happy so far. Defense are backing each other up, good fore check, call ups are hitting good and Mcnabb lays out chimera. In my humble opinion, they are winning mostly because we are taking advantage of good chances and we are finally hitting more.
papazoid Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 i see stafford is a scratch.... is he a "healthy" scratch ??
wjag Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 The Comcast crew is basically chastising the Caps for not playing with heart.. Sound familiar?
K-9 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Just noticed on the ESPN.com box score that Szczechura is just listed as "F" for "Forward" because they apparently had no idea who he was either. All the other forwards are "C", "LW", or "RW." http://scores.espn.go.com/nhl/boxscore?gameId=400047770  He's actually listed as "MF" for "mystery forward". GO SABRES!!!
Marine0369 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 I think I have figured out the problem. Whenever we are in a slump we need to call up some Amerks. They play well and show the regulars that they are replaceable. They then realize that on most other teams they would all (except Vanek and Pommers)be on the third line or fourth. This equals better play in order to keep their current jobs. Any thoughts?
wjag Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 i see stafford is a scratch.... is he a "healthy" scratch ?? Comcast had him as lower body
sabre snipe Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Anyone else agree the mcnabb looks rly good out there??
Robviously Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 He's actually listed as "MF" for "mystery forward". GO SABRES!!! ......That's not what "MF" stands for.

87168 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 wow!!!!! way to draw a penalty shot!!! :wallbash:
deluca67 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Given how discerning you are, why would anyone give us anything good for our "garbage." Are you assuming other teams' GMs are stupid? Or is Regier so shrewd that he can get the necessary pieces for a Stanley Cup with soft useless players? Miller has value around the league. It might be a little less than it was because of the concussion issues, still some value there though. I don't seem to recall suggesting Regier trade away the "garbage." Maybe because I know there is little to no value there. Some because of play and others because of contract status. The value lies in Miller, Vanek, Roy and the young kids.
87168 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 kassian gets it back for us
Iron Crotch Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Kassian! I'm loving these kids! (and I don't mean that in a Sandusky sort of way)
njh2604 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Let's see if we can turn a 2 goal lead into a 3 gol lead for a change!!
Tyrannustyrannus Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Harry Neal needs to retire...did he watch the game yesterday? Nice play by Kassian though. and If Erhoff wants to yell at someone it should be Gragnani. He was asleep at the Blue line and made a lousy effort.
njh2604 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Derek Roy leading from the front, having a good year so far.
... Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Kassian is looking more comfortable with the NHL tonight. Meanwhile, MAGs continues to irk me with his soft play.

North Buffalo Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Grags needs to go back and take some hitting lessons in his own end. I have yet to see him lay anyone out. He plays too soft.
