inkman Posted November 18, 2011 Author Report Posted November 18, 2011 He fits the MAG, Erhoff, Sykera, Myers mold correct? Could they be in trade talks and looking to give up a puck moving defenceman in the trade? Miller, Sekera, Brennan for Stasny (E4)
Weave Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 Miller, Sekera, Brennan for Stasny and Giguere (E4) :D
FogBat Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 Miller, Sekera, Brennan for Stasny (E4) No, call him "Granimals". My wife does because she can't pronounce Grangani I think. I figured that "Maggie" would fit because of that soft, feminine side of the team that likes to show up from time to time that's just teeming with estrogen during match play.
RazielSabre Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 I hope they bench leopold or Ehrhoff in favor of Brennan. It's no secret I'm not real fond of MAG, but those other guys have been frightening at times. I might be being dumb but hasn't Leopold been pretty solid recently? Unremarkable, but solid. Same as Regehr and Weber. Ehrhoff seems to be getting better as well. I reckon their calling him up as a 7th, just in case Weber is out for a while.

Ehrhoff seems to be getting better as well. No they all completely suck because they dare to make mistakes once in awhile. Just like everyone else.
ROCBuffalo Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 So MAG is going to get healthy-scratched in favor of Brennan? That seems odd. Seems really odd..........
RazielSabre Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 Whats the mood leading up to Brennan's debut? Not great circumstance but guy has a decent size and reputation as a decent mover. His quote about 'Im a defenseman, lets keep the puck out of my net' made me smile as well.
inkman Posted November 22, 2011 Author Report Posted November 22, 2011 At least he knows what to do when someone ###### with your goalie.
Cereal Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 At least he knows what to do when someone ###### with your goalie. Doesn't take sh!t from the fans, either. www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3pjBfqpcv4
carpandean Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 Doesn't take sh!t from the fans, either. www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3pjBfqpcv4 Only if he's changed his name from Kip to TJ recently ...
Cereal Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 Only if he's changed his name from Kip to TJ recently ... Ha.... well............. uh..... this is embarrassing.......
Weave Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 Ha.... well............. uh..... this is embarrassing....... Delete the post now and only you, me, and carp know what carp is talking about. And my silence can be bought. :D
5th line wingnutt Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 This may be obvious but... With Myers and Weber both out for a month or more this is Brennan's chance. If he makes good both he and the Sabres are enriched. If not, then not. Good luck, T.J.
Andrew Amerk Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 Quite a task for him to be facing the big bad Bruins in his first game.
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 I'll be honest. If I'm another team, one like Boston for sure, I dump and chase and just crush these creampuffs on defense. Without Weber and Myers, Regehr is the only guy who can handle the body. Sekera, Gragnani, Ehrhoff, Leopold......I don't know much about Brennan, but you have to assume he'll have the yips. I get scared that we will see more long term injuries on the D coming as physical play against them is ratcheted up.
shrader Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 At least he knows what to do when someone ###### with your goalie. And it was the Bruins
Andrew Amerk Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 Good job by TJ getting his 1st NHL Goal in his first game.
