spndnchz Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Sabres at Canadiens 11/14/11 7:00PM Buffalo has won three straight and six of the last eight meetings in Montreal. VERSUS GAME
NowDoYouBelieve Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 The boys need a measure of redemption after Saturday. Frankly, I can accept a loss if that's the way the cookie crumbles, but I'll be severely disappointed if they look flat. Sabres 2 Habs 1
Weave Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 I'm thinking that Montreal is going to suffer for Buffalo's embarrassment on Saturday. The team is going to be thin skinned regarding play around their goalie. And Montreal isn't particularly tough so Buffalo will feel comfortable doing it. I predict a Sabres win and several fights breaking out due to play in the crease. Embarrassment is a powerful motivator.
DumbPuck Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 For the love of god put Weber in. Did he piss on Ruff's dog or something? What does HE or our current D need to do in order for him to get some friggin game time?!
Eleven Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 For the love of god put Weber in. Did he piss on Ruff's dog or something? What does HE or our current D need to do in order for him to get some friggin game time?! Yes, and Pegula is covering it up. Secondhand.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Big bounceback game tonight, I am curious to see if we come out feisty or if we continue to play "the system" either way jolly green giant should be sitting OR completely kept away from 44, Weber should be in there and id like to see tropp back up. Im licking my chops for the boston rematch, but take it one game at a time !! Sabres win by the paddle of Ethron!
Derrico Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 For the love of god put Weber in. Did he piss on Ruff's dog or something? What does HE or our current D need to do in order for him to get some friggin game time?! :clapping: Nearly spit my coffee all over the computer after reading that. Nice line to start the day!
dEnnis the Menace Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 I think the Sabres will win big this game like they did against Ottawa, just using more physical play. I am jumping onto the Weber bandwagon...he needs to put in, and I dont care which out of Sekera, MAG, Myers he sits, but this team needs more physicality out there.

Your are correct, " Montreal isn't particularly tough" (or a team know for their cheap shots) so if the Sabres decide to beat up on them a bit it will be akin to getting the crap kicked out of you by a bully and then going home to kick the cat. The only game that can redeem them is the next Boston game.
CallawaySabres Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 This team makes me sick to my stomach right now and I could not give a crap about wins or losses until the next Boston game. If I was Miller, I would want out of this group of pansies sooner rather than later.....
spndnchz Posted November 14, 2011 Author Report Posted November 14, 2011 BTW it's a Versus game folks.
darksabre Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 This team is known for standing up for Enroth where they wouldn't have for Miller. Happened several times last season. If anyone so much as breathes on ETHRON I expect a much different response from the Sabres. That said, this is the Habs, and we play them soft, because they're soft too. I expect a win tonight.
Derrico Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 BTW it's a Versus game folks.  The news just keeps getting better.....
Eleven Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011   The news just keeps getting better..... Actually, I am very interested in hearing what the VS crew says about Saturday's game. I don't mind this that much. And sometimes I like the different camera angles that a VS game brings, too.
SabresMojo Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 After Saturday's fiasco and then finding out its a TV game...yeah... We know how much the TV talkers love to talk about Buffalo... Could be interesting... Hope they find the balls they need to have to compete.
waldo Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Going to be interesting watching Mr Roth play the next five or ten games in a row (if Miller actually has a concussion.) So many raving fans of his here, most having moved over from the Myers bandwagon...The leaque has had a pretty good look at him now so this second/ third time through could be enlightening.I hope he passes. Now more than ever he needs to balance his yin and yang. If i was Miller, my head would really hurt and i may have to take off for Bermmuda to recover for a month, so the Sabres could have enough time to find a contender to trade me to. Maybe a package deal if you include Vanek. Just think of all the play small guys and offensive defensemen Lindy could get for them. I wonder who comes up as backup.

bunomatic Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 I wonder if Milbury walks off stage again. We all know how that windbag Milbury will respond to our teams lack of response. I'm thinking I'll have to turn down the volume to get through this game without putting my shoe through the t.v. GO SABRES!
rbochan Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 The ###### brigade takes it on the road to Montreal.
Andrew Amerk Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 I am interested to see how our team responds to all the media criticism. I would like to see Myers start to get more physical. I think if he goes that route, his offense will start to open up. Hopefully it's Weber time for awhile now too.

Weave Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Mike Harrington is saying on Twitter that the lines and D pairings are unchanged. Sounds like Weber still sits.
waldo Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 [/b] Most likely MacIntyre Then the Amerks are left with a just off the wounded list Leggio and ? a soon to be bumped up...backup

Cereal Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 id like to see tropp back up. Did I miss something Saturday? Did we have a forward get injured?
