Miller out indefinitely with concussion

It's such a strange position though. Remember, right up until the time of the lockout, Tim Thomas wasn't even good enough to be a career AHLer.

I think so much of it is mental. I went out last night to play goalie for my buddy's last game with our pickup crew. I borrowed someone else's gear, had skates that were way too dull, and haven't played since my knee injuries last spring, yet I played very well, because my head was in it. I was focused.

Thomas found yoga. He found a different way to prepare for his games and to train. He's undoubtedly not the most technical or in shape goaltender out there, but his mind is right.

I think any goaltender can excel if his mind is right.

Yes I agree.

The question, on topic, that I have is if anyone has any idea of MacIntyre's abilities? Is he a NHL-capable goalie?

Trapper is good enough for meatball surgery but you wouldn't want him as your everyday doctor.

A+ :D

Given the amount of times I hit my own shoes on this board, I should wear rubber duckies.

Reimers own mother isn't even in the loop as to whats going on with him right now, but she came out and said he has had concussion issues in the past so it doesn't sound good for him

I saw that. Momma bear seems pretty upset that either the Leafs haven't acknowledged that it is a concussion or that they are misdiagnosing what he has. Can't say I blame her.

Check out Millers eyes. Those looked fully dilated to me.

That has to be an optical illusion in the image. If Miller's eyes were fully dilated while playing on a bright white sheet of ice with all that glare there's no way he'd be able to keep his eyes open let alone play NHL hockey.

I can't distinguish his iris from his pupil in that picture, but I agree with your analysis.

If I'm right he then let in 3 goals on 10 shots. Thats not NHL either to be fair lol.

A Goalie controversy is a blessing.

Enroth has had a limited roll so far. This scenario is very bad.

Enroth has been good up to now, but should teams solve Enroth the season could be sunk.

So Enroth is going to go from very good goalie to below average goalie just like that? Doubt it. Its hard to win 13 straight games for anyone, let alone someone who is a would-be imposter...

I'm starting to believe but I can name more then 10 goalies who had better streaks only to wash out a year or two later.

Kind of like that 14-0-2 start to Pat Lalime's career?

Not making excuses for Lalime as he was not good at all after the lockout towards the end of his career.

He did win 200 NHL games, not that bad! Could be worse.

He was 167-112 pre lockout and 33-62-16 post lockout. Old age set in maybe?

He started 14-0-2 and Enroth is similar. I would be ok with 200 wins from Enroth, Miller and Hasek only have a few more than that.
