I am madder that the attitude of refs will take care of it versus someone knocking the sheet out of Lucic is prevalent on this team

This whole miller thing is like watching your brother getting beat up at the park by a bully, and then turning away an walking home.

Enroth will be #1 and Drew MacIntyre (not to be confused with current WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre) will be our #2.

This, I believe is a blessing in disguise, Miller is out now and we don't have the "goaltending controversy"

We all/most got what we wanted, Enroth as #1.

Lets see if he repeats like last year.

A Goalie controversy is a blessing.

Enroth has had a limited roll so far. This scenario is very bad.

Enroth has been good up to now, but should teams solve Enroth the season could be sunk.

Miller was doing cartwheels, yipping to the press in a suit. Darcy said he's feeling better today. He wasn't in the hospital.

If anything, I'd worry more about his psyche and this being a "Dom Groin Special"

Concussions symptoms are rarely clearly understood. Miller was concussed late last Winter.

Repeated blows complicate things. I'm surprised that you of all people haven't explored the he's been suffering from post-concussion syndrom all along:

Mentally unfocused, irritable, lack of concentration. ;)

You don't necessarily learn anything in the first hour. Athletes woozy with adrenalin that have just been through a car crash aren't the best at self-diagnosing.

Mike Harrington saying it was the Boston doctors that ordered Miller out of the game.

OK...in all honesty if he is really hurt they should be careful.

It has just been such a clusterbomb of a week for the Sabres organization...I don't know what to think.

1) Your elite goalie is playing like doo-doo, is acting out towards the media, and your #2 is trusted more at this point

2) Your team gets exposed as softer than anyone here thought they were, including myself

3) The entire hockey community is laughing at the Sabres

4) Your elite goalie is now repeatedly concussed

5) Your owner and chief operator are involved in a child rape coverup (Edit:STATE AND FEDERAL INVESTIGATION) in a secondhand fashion at best

Book this as a week for the ages

It was the Boston docs and they followed protocol.

Right but the initial report from Sabres docs was that it wasn't. Would this be getting looked at if the Sabres docs hadn't said anything either? If Miller is supposedly fine, then why say he isn't?

I wonder which Sabre the Bruins will decide to injure next time.

This is another reason why Shanny has to suspend.

If the suspension is not meaningful and substantial, players have to police the game themselves and then we get a Betruzzi on Moore situation.

I think this is bigger than Kaleta's.

IIRC Lucic was fined before, (like Kaleta) so this may be potentially a message suspension coming down with repeat offender ramifications.

1) I think Enroth is trusted because he's been playing lights out, which I really don't think is a bad thing.

2) Can't fight that one

3) I don't think this is true at all

4) Again, this is true, although he didn't appear to be that hurt when it originally happened.

5) Wow, how you can relate the Penn State storey to the owner being involved in a child rape cover up is sick, even for you. How on earth is he part of the coverup??

Thankfully, a breath of fresh air in this thread/ongoing conversation.

Your post just made me think of something: do you think they suspend Lucic so he can't play in the upcoming Sabres-Bruins game in Buffalo?

It would have to be a five-game suspension (the game on Nov. 23 is Boston's fifth up), so I don't see that happening.

Nathan Horton looked pretty good last night........although Marc Savard, not so much; truly a crapshoot. I'll give miller a week at best and he will be back, it wasnt much.

It doesn't take that much when one is travelling between 25 and 30 MPH the other decelerating from 20. That was a massive hit.
