The "They're playing the second game of a back to back" excuse really gets old after a while. Would Myers not be a turnover machine if he had a day off?

NOPE!

Haha. That could be it. It really is unnerving to have an animal stare at you without blinking for, like, one hour straight. :D

Maybe there's a ghost behind you. I hear animals can see ghosts.

Are you talking about the 3rd goal? Gragnani isn't supposed to take the man on a 2 on 1. He's supposed to take away the pass. The problem was the giveaway in the neutral zone, which has nothing to do with physicality.

Correct. The second problem is that Gragnani didn't take away the pass at all. Miller couldn't commit 100% to the shot because he's probably half-expecting the pass that Grags left wide open.

he was abandoned all three times, but on the first and last ones, the normal Miller makes the save. He's out of sync.

i said same hes looking average and people think its all the d fault. I am sorry he gave up the five hole as big as a bushel basket of first and to me was slow to react on the third

Sure, but if he is going to play that passive even on the pass, he left that open too, the shooter just decided to shoot and given the previous goal where Meyers screwed up and Sekera covered neither allowing the pass, Miller looked like he was trying to cover both players and rightfully so.

Cover the back door then and take that guy out, in the very least put a body on someone.

Have you seen McCormick's eye? I don't think he's in any condition to throw with a guy three times his body size in Lucic. Kaleta is just off a suspension and rightfully trying not to be too dirty. More importantly neither of them were on the ice when Miller got rocked anyway. Nor was Regehr. Goose was the only one in position to do anything about it and by the time he got there the refs had isolated Lucic and nothing was going to happen. Good idea not to take a instigator when we were getting a PP anyway.

That said, Weber should be in the lineup.

Someone still has to go with him before this game ends. It was embarrassing enough watching him knock two guys down after the hit (and they went down like they wanted no part of him, as per the Sabres' usual mode of "hope the other guy takes care of it." Pitiful.

I understand all of this and its reasonable. But that means other guys need to step up and be physical. Myers did nothing and there was zero response from anyone else. At least run Thomas. Our pk is top 3. Send a message then kill the penalty

This game has the feel of a playoff game...and the Sabres lack the physical intensity to compete. What happened to the "mean" Myers from last playoff season? Sekera should sit as he is making Myers play even worse. Sekera should have tried to clock Lucic after the hit on Miller. Weber is a much better fit for a game like this.....earth to Lindy! Gaustad needs to step it up and introduce himself to Mr. Lucic
