spndnchz Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Sabres at Bruins 11/12/11 7:00PM Sabres coming off a big win at home vs. Ottawa. Sequin and Lucic with the hot hands in Boston. Great Northeast rivalry. Bruins 6 pts behind the Sabres but like the Sabres 6-4-0 in the last 10 games. Bruins have scored 24 goals in 4 games of November. Should be a good D test. Thomas has some words for Miller.
ozone Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 I'm guessing it's going to be a Miller night. Let's see if he can show his stuff. The pressure is on after Enroth's near shutout (only goal being given up on a 5 on 3).
beerme1 Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Im sitting in Montreal and watched our game tonight on the main big screen at La Cage Aux Sports near the airport and had a great time. They even have a picture of a Sabre in snorting goat uni on the outside. This Bruins game will be off limits for me because there is a Habs game also. Look for our group of four on Monday night. You will see me dancing in the aisle or being escorted out. Olay? Olay olay olay! Sabres 3-1 over the Bruins with Miller in net and he gets the start in Montreal Monday.
bunomatic Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Not much more to say than the bruins have been really hittin on all cylinders offensively so this will be a big test for our D. GO SABRES!
Andrew Amerk Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 1. Great Northeast rivalry. 2. Thomas has some words for Miller. 1. Great Adams Division rivalry. 2. it's JHONAS! If you are a professional writer, get it F'N right. Idiot.
LGR4GM Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 1) The defense needs to tighten up and lock it down tonight or bad things will happen 2) Miller will be in net and I think he will show up and play a good game. 3) If the defense gets outplayed by Boston then it is seriously time to make a change. Mike Robitaille said it tonight in the post game that this team may ahve a good record but most of their wins have not really been convincing. Lock down the zone and play some tough hockey. If the defense has a poor outing start benching guys. We are 15 games into the season its time to start showing some "gel". 4) Both our top lines will need to be as aggressive as they were tonight. I feel that the Gerbe-Goose-Boyes line will have a good night and thats just my hunch. 5) LETS GO BUFFALO!
CallawaySabres Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 I went to Boston on Thursday to take some clients to the Edmonton game. I have to say that they looked very strong and the crowd was in it start to finish. I think the crowd noise was the part that I noticed the most. Yes, the Bruins won that game but the Sabres won 5-1 last night and besides the goals and the last 30 seconds, you would have thought they lost. What in the world has happened to the atmosphere in Buff and what can be done to change it?
wjag Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Both teams riding 4 game win streaks. Something must give..
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 handle the forecheck and pressure their D
NowDoYouBelieve Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Remember, we all thought Miller was a lock to start last Saturday too. Don't count me shocked or disappointed if it's Enroth again, with Miller on Tuesday. As for the game, it's been a nice 4-game stretch against some pretty bad teams. Here's the real test... a) Against the Stanley Cup Champs b) Who are also on a 4-game winning streak c) At their house d) On a back-to-back I still say we take it in oooooovertime.

NowDoYouBelieve Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 The Sabres play Montreal on Monday 11/14. Oh, right.
qwksndmonster Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Sabres 11 Bruins 2 Goals by: Sekera (6) Miller (3) Vanek (1) Leino (1) Millers lets in the first two shots and then slams the door the rest of the game.

dudacek Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 I have not been one of the ones pounding the drum on this all season, but tonight is the night for a Weber sighting.
wjag Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 I have not been one of the ones pounding the drum on this all season, but tonight is the night for Weber sighting. Me either, and I agree...
North Buffalo Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 1. Great Adams Division rivalry. 2. it's JHONAS! If you are a professional writer, get it F'N right. Idiot. It is an ESPN article, what do you want, they hate hockey and I eliminated them from my cable channels. Not worth the money if they are not going to cover it well and show games.
SwampD Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 If miller and Sekera can provide 9 goals, I think 11 is totally reasonable. That's just funny.

Not worth the money if they are not going to cover it well and show games. You have the ability to pick and choose what channels you get?! How can I get that?
Cereal Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Confirmed, Miller to start http://blogs.buffalonews.com/sabres/2011/11/as-scheduled-miller-to-start-against-boston.html
sabre snipe Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 In Boston, going to the game tonight! First nhl/sabres game I've ever been to out side of buffalo, so it should b a great experience. Just hoping for a good game...GO SABRES!!!!!
itbeatswalking Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Sabres 11 Bruins 2 Goals by: Sekera (6) Miller (3) Vanek (1) Leino (1) Millers lets in the first two shots and then slams the door of the bench on his way to the locker room. Lol jk
pegs4mayor Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 I'd really like to see Vanek with a goal and assist. I want Leonora to keep plugging away and get a point. I'm thinking gerbe and goose also. Go sabressss. Hope to hear millllllllllerrrrr all night. ( sorry if my grammer sucks I'm typing this blind at work!!)
