Warriorspikes51 Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 WGR claims Enroth starting..... maybe Miller not feeling well or told Ruff he didn't feel ready?
sabres1970 Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Wow, this is getting dramatic but I like it. Miller doesn't deserve to be starting right now, he needs to take his job back from Enroth. Nothing wrong with a little competition.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Hmmm id really like to know why enroth gets the nod. I hope its because ruff is playing the hot hand. Im not upset by this news tho
TheMatrix31 Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Well, there's a difference between getting Ryan Miller geared up for competition purposes and pissing him off overall. Doing the latter is dangerous. You don't want your best player hating life and building off-ice issues too. Let's hope its just Lindy going with the dude on fire.

Especially right now he's not even one of their good players.

donteatyellowsnow Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 He's starting because the team wants to win. It's that simple Bingo! Obviously Ruff thinks he gives them the best chance to win.
donteatyellowsnow Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Ok, let's say Enroth wins 3-1 tonight and looks good. Who starts the next game?
NowDoYouBelieve Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 He's not their best player. Especially right now he's not even one of their good players. Prior to the  effort against Philly, he had a 2.14 GAA. I wouldn't go so far as to say he isn't a good player right now.
thesportsbuff Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 If anybody besides Enroth was our back-up, Miller would be starting tonight. Miller has only had one bad game and it came following nearly 100 minutes of shutout hockey. But Enroth has done nothing besides play well and win -- he's earned it. I think Lindy is finally just gonna roll with the hot guy and see what Enroth can do. But I still think we're a long ways from a "goalie controversy."
novascotiaguy Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Wow I thought for sure miller would go i'm lost for words.

Why can't it just be Enroth playing out of his mind?
inkman Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Dangerous precedent... (that I agree with)
wjag Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Damn... I got caught napping on my fantasy lineup. I have both and didn't figure the goalie switch out in time.
DumbPuck Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Dangerous precedent... (that I agree with) I see so many of the posters on this board that I respect saying things like this about the whole goalie situation. I wish I could understand it. I mean, I know you guys have got to be right since you all seem to know so much more about hockey than me. But I just can't understand how this one position can be allowed to be so damned fragile-minded. Maybe if this whole thing blows up then I will gain the wisdom and foresight that you all seem to have. For now I will just hope that all you smart people are wrong and that Enroth kicks ass.
donteatyellowsnow Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Dangerous precedent... (that I agree with) Why? If Miller can't handle it and will react negativly to it then ship his azz out of here. I don't want and i'm sure the team doesn't want a negative force in the room day in and day out. Miller has left that door open for a long time, it's only now that someone (Enroth) has taken advantage of it, he has deserved a lot more play time.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 enroth getting the start Interesting very interesting
james duncan Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 I just don't see that there is any way Miller loses this game - shutout is almost guaranteed..... Well, I guess you were technically correct on the first one...
wjag Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 What happens if the Sabres get lit up tonight?
TheMatrix31 Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Anyone have an MSG stream? I have no idea where the hell the stream I'm watching is coming from, and the volume is super low. Gross.
samothyev Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 I love it that Enroth is getting the go. All I care about is winning, and frankly the team played _dead_ when Miller was in! LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!
james duncan Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 I can't imagine they'll underestimate the Sens because Alfie is out. Philly did not miss a beat without Briere and Long Duck Prong.
