james duncan Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 The intermission report on the Calgary feed is outstanding. Billy Jaffe is tremendous.
G-Daddy Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Nice view from section 116 sabres put forth good effort in the 1st. And we got to meet Danny gare at the tent party. Go sabres!
james duncan Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 BOYES had 5 shots on Goal that period, he's playing really well. Playing like a man possessed. That stop on him on the PP was unreal.
GloveSave Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Nice start for a change...just need to finish.
JJFIVEOH Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Did Hamilton really say there were 13 shots on the PP that period??? :o
... Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Anyone want to take a stab at why this game is so different than the Philly game? I'm trying to find a thread or two to grasp on to here (and, no, I am NOT trying to start a Miller debate). Is it that the Flames are tired? Did the Sabres simply panic when Philly came on, but kept their cool tonight?

Not to mention, I think Calgary isn't a very good team this year.
james duncan Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Flames not nearly as deep as fly-boys. Sabres are moving their feet and drawing penalties. Lack of a Flame forecheck--flyers pinned their ears back right from the start and had the sabres panicing. And of course...no early goals against.
... Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 And of course...no early goals against. The early goals were a result of whatever is different between this Sabres and that Sabres I'd say.
... Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Ehroff has been a defensive wizard tonight.
... Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Tropp has impressed with his physical game.
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Maybe they all ate Weinerschnitzel for lunch, because it looks like the team from Europe.
GloveSave Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Starting to play with more and more confidence. Myers is looking to get in the play more too.
Iron Crotch Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Oof. I hate that automatic penalty for knocking the puck out.
87168 Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Enroth has a hobbit's luck! You are such a hater of #1
