streetcarp77 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 haven't been back in awhile. too busy watching the billies looking fun. this sabre team is frustrating. those free agent pickups aren't making all the offseason noise we were supposed too. leino is a non factor, and although ehrhoff has a great slapper, he is a defensive liability, almost like the other team has a man advantage when he is on the ice. i'm shocked sekera is our most solid defenseman up and down because myers looks like a 6'8" child. no hustle, no using his big body, half ass checks, bad breakouts, and useless in the offensive zone. future norris candidate my ass! wake up myers!
Lanny Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 A little late, but found these tweets humorous: pham22758 Paul Hamilton Maybe Bass should forget about it for tonight SabresProspects Kris Baker Cody Bass dances w/ Kaleta + McCormick in 1st. Derek Dorsett would've taken one but he still has ice bags on his face from last year.
waldo Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 nice low rebound producing shot... and a beautiful rebound to the captain, who deserved that one
Samson's Flow Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Good to see adam feed vanek there to set up the goal. That's his job on that line. Pommers there to clean it up
waldo Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Good to see adam feed vanek there to set up the goal. That's his job on that line. Pommers there to clean it up i was going to say that but my sentence was too log...good thought.. thats his only job...and then go to the net wait for the shot or for Vanek or Pom to find him. A few dozen games of doing that and he will be in the running for the kid of the year award because he will get his pts and goals.
streetcarp77 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Good to see adam feed vanek there to set up the goal. That's his job on that line. Pommers there to clean it up need more than one line to score
Lanny Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Leopold had more contact with Enroth than Nash did.
waldo Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 mags is still looking for his jock in the aftermath of that goal....maybe he should watch the film of what Regehr did in the exact same situation two minutes later
DumbPuck Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 II agree Lanny .... but a message needs to be sent still ... even after the 'non interference' on the next offensive rush in we all just stood round with their winger in our crease ..... I want weber crushing some face.
Iron Crotch Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 wow...like i said. myers blows You always this full of cheer?
87168 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 wow...like i said. myers blows ummm maybe you just started following the sabres and youre judging him based on the last few games, but you are incorrect.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 You always this full of cheer? Yeah its great to have him back.........
streetcarp77 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 You always this full of cheer? im cool. no doubt we would all like to see the dominating home performance we know this team has. just venting.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Crap I thought Adam scored...... :wallbash:
waldo Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 they are now doubling Vanek in the o zone when he touches the puck on the half boards . he should have had his third assist on that pass to adam, who will not sleep well after missing that one
zow2 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Columbus looks dominant tonight but Enroth has been better. Concerned that the Sabres aren't looking better at home vs a low tier opponent
darksabre Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Columbus looks dominant tonight but Enroth has been better. Concerned that the Sabres aren't looking better at home vs a low tier opponent Can't take for granted the effort of a desperate team, but we have looked shaky at time.
DumbPuck Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Columbus looks dominant tonight but Enroth has been better. Concerned that the Sabres aren't looking better at home vs a low tier opponent The short term section of my brain agrees with this sentiment. However, I won't be concerned unless we're 60 games in and still outside of playoff positioning.
