korab rules Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 We have all struggled with the same problem. We have a bit of information to put up for discussion, but there is no clear existing thread to add it to. What to do, what to do... Some would create a new thread for every thought that pops into their head. Some will search back years looking for a thread with marginal relevance to the new info just to avoid starting a new thread. As a compromise, I offer you this thread. To start things off, here is a tidbit of info which, IMHO, isn't deserving of it own thread. Linkenstein To sum it up: Gerbe is playing better this year than he did the beginning of last year. Enroth may play again in the next 3 games, as Ruff says he'll play 20+ games this year. Gragnani is likely out on Tuesday - needs to work on his defensive game. In his absence, Roy, Boyes or Leopold to take a more prominent role on the powerplay.

Weave Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Please, please, please, no more forwards on the point. At least not *these* forwards.
korab rules Posted October 17, 2011 Author Report Posted October 17, 2011 If that's true...looking how the schedule shapes up, we will be calling Enroth, the Saturday Night Swede. He wouldn't be the first swede in blue and gold to get in every 3rd opportunity.

spndnchz Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Seriously, this thread police thing is overblown. The only problem we have is when a thread is started when a recent (previous week) thread is discussing the topic and some new news comes along and a brand new thread is created. If you have an idea or thought that you think warrants a thread of it's own then go for it. Not that this thread is a bad idea, but I've held back hoping someone would take the lead on the Enroth will play more story and no one has. Grags is being discussed in the GDT from last game. Gerbe could be his own thread if someone would put together some stats vs last year on him. Connolly does not get anymore threads. lol
Andrew Amerk Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 1. Who is this Connolly person you speak of? 2. When are they going to put Gerbe back to his listed Center position? 3. It's time to bring back Briere and Drury. The Sabres have lost a game this season, and I demand those guys back.
qwksndmonster Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 we will be calling Enroth, The Saturday Night Swede. I love it.
RazielSabre Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 While I'm glad Enroth with play more, and got the win it's a shame (for my fantasy rankings) Miller got the loss and Enroth got the win :bag:

The intro was tongue in cheek. That sounds dirty... Anyway, I just wanted to post the link to the comments - if people want to start a thread to discuss them in more depth it's no skin off my nose.

RazielSabre Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 I agree for the same selfish reasons. I think we can agree Montreal made up for it. :clapping:

Cereal Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Want for self. I'll take note in case I draw your name in the SabreSpace Secret Santa this year. B-) Anyway, sounds like a pretty sweet gig.
X. Benedict Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Hired a power skating coach Dawn Braid This looks like her. In the first minute
Two or less Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, but Leino is not happy with his own play. http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2011/10/19/its-ok-everyone-luongos-gotten-used-to-being-booed/#/2011/10/19/sabres-hot-start-is-making-everyone-in-buffalo-look-good-except-ville-leino/
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Hired a power skating coach Dawn Braid So....you say she worked with the Maple Leafs from '05-'08.............???.....
inkman Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Hired a power skating coach Dawn Braid No wonder some of these guys have been training "hard". http://www.theathletetrainingcentre.com/Dawn.html

spndnchz Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 Vanek has 31 points (15+16) in 23 games since 3/5/11. He's now 5th in GWG in Sabres history. Only two behind Andreychuk.
Eleven Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 Just ran into jpeg again, this time she obviously had returned from a training session of some sort. I think her life (bouncing all over the place playing tennis, a "home" in Florida and a "home" in a Buffalo hotel, etc.) would be really hard.
