darksabre Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Turnbull drops em again to no avail. He's the only one that cares they are taking it in the ass. Morrissonn is a bigger waste here than he was in Buffalo. Seriously, dude is awful. This team needs some work.
inkman Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Turnbull dropped em a third time, my new favorite Amerk.
X. Benedict Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Turnbull dropped em a third time, my new favorite Amerk. Listened to the 1st and 2nd on the web...sounded bad. Maybe it wasn't so bad I had to give my tickets away at the last second after all.

darksabre Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 You couldnt be more right. He might have been their worst player. He didn't boardplay anyone till the last 3 minutes. Awful.
OverPowerYou Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 I went to the game tonight. It sucked. Can't wait for the Sabres game tomorrow. By the 3rd period me and my 2 buddies decided to go to the top right corner of the arena where nobody was sitting just because we were bored Also, the announced crowd was 9,217 i believe and out of those 9,217 fans, 9,216 were Amerks fans except this one drunk penguins fan waving his flag/hand towel thing. He was drunk by the end of the 1st period.

X. Benedict Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Boys against bigger boys. Shapaoamne Morrissonnnn looks like a man amongst boys but isn't playing like it. Give Shaoauauene Morrisoooooooon some time to gather his vowels.
inkman Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Announcer called him Shane, I was pissed at first but now I'm glad for it.
qwksndmonster Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Taro T is my hero, and I'm very disappointed that the Amerks are sucking.
Taro T Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Holy ###### this team sucks They might. But just for perspective, that 1st Sabres team to wear the Shatanic Goatheads and play in the Mmarena started 1-2 on the road and then were beyond horrible in getting crushed by Detroit and shutout by Tampa Bay 3 nights later. By the end of the year, they'd gotten their stuff together and won the Northeast and Plante was a hero in the 1st round as they FINALLY won a game 7.
LabattBlue Posted October 14, 2011 Author Report Posted October 14, 2011 For those at the game last night, how physical were McNabb, Kassian and Foligno?
That Aud Smell Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 thanks for the feedback, ink -- as painful as it was (to write, and read). let's give the team some time and hope for the best. still, discouraging to hear the reviews of kassian and foligno.

First reality check in Pegulaville. After their success in the summer, it was easy to think they could continue it in the AHL. That's why the play the game..
ROCBuffalo Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Thursday is going to be a great time! Can't wait. Yeah it was a great time before the game started. :censored: :wallbash:
darksabre Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 For those at the game last night, how physical were McNabb, Kassian and Foligno? Not physical at all. Whitmore and Turnbull were the only ones really throwing weight around.
Andrew Amerk Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Not physical at all. Whitmore and Turnbull were the only ones really throwing weight around. McNabb threw at least 3 good checks. Kassian and Foligno didn't do much, although Kassian did outwork the D really nicely twice, especially on that goal he fed to Foligno. Brennan had the hit of the night, right in front of that "Injured?" sign in front of the bench. Sloppy play overall. Terrible passing. All the lines were out of sync. They will get better as the season moves along. The 4 minute standing ovation for Joe the Crow was nice.
inkman Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 I think organizationally they were counting on Adam being down with the possibility of Kotalik as well. Their playmakers aren't very good right now. Guys like Stuart, Varone and Kassian need to step up.
inkman Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Ellis too, forgot about him. Why is he still up with the big club? The Amerks have too many vets? They don't want to expose him to waivers? Frustrating...
Guest Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Let's not forget this is the highest level Rolston has ever come close to coaching so he is quite wet behind the ears. Big jump from being an asst with some college teams and then HC of the Under 18 USA Hockey Team and the HC of the USA's Hockey National Team Development Program??? Not the most seasoned guy at the AHL level.
inkman Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Voakes-whitmore-Kassian-Brennan-morrisson On the ice to start. Only 2 prospects, interesting.
inkman Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Whtimore from Parker slick pass on the PP (exlby in the box)
inkman Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Foligno from Parker another nice feed to the net Even strength.
