spndnchz Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 Supposed to be going on re-entry waivers today.
spndnchz Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 ...and he clears. Back to NYR. Thornton on Rangers last night: "To be honest with you, they were probably the softest team we played against on this road trip and we should have had the two points,” the Sharks captain said. “We played some good teams and I think we should have beaten these guys"
RazielSabre Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 Anyone think Shanny will go hard on Avery if he continues to get up to his old tricks?
shrader Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 ...and he clears. Back to NYR. Thornton on Rangers last night: "To be honest with you, they were probably the softest team we played against on this road trip and we should have had the two points,” the Sharks captain said. “We played some good teams and I think we should have beaten these guys" Are they actually calling him up or were they just hoping for a claim?
spndnchz Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 Are they actually calling him up or were they just hoping for a claim? Newbury didn't work out for them. He's up to play "But not guaranteed a spot yet" said Torts. The other night Rangers fans were chanting "We want Avery" at MSG.

shrader Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 And now that he's back, I wonder how Dallas feels about having to add payroll earlier when he was demoted.
BuffaloBill Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 Avery is to hockey what Linsey Lohan is to Hollywood ... having said that maybe they should hook up and move far away ... very far away.
korab rules Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 Avery is to hockey what Linsey Lohan is to Hollywood ... having said that maybe they should hook up and move far away ... very far away. This wouldn't work. Neither one has the stuff the other is looking for. But nice, accurate analogy!
SwampD Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 This wouldn't work. Neither one has the stuff the other is looking for. But nice, accurate analogy! I root for Linsey Lohan, I don't root for Avery. She's a mess. He's a d!ck. There's a big difference.
spndnchz Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Didn't make the Whale's postseason roster and was told he no longer needed to report to the rink for practice or games.

inkman Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 I root for Linsey Lohan, I don't root for Avery. She's a mess. He's a d!ck. There's a big difference. Not to mention...Boobs!
spndnchz Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 If an Avery falls in the woods, does anyone pick him up? http://espn.go.com/new-york/nhl/story/_/id/7681867/new-york-rangers-sean-avery-says-officially-retired
nobody Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 Luckily he still has his career as a fashion trendsetter http://videos.nymag.com/video/Best-of-Sean-Avery-on-Project-R#c=C77F8J2MTD1DHJJH&t=Best%20of%20Sean%20Avery%20on%20%27Project%20Runway:%20All%20Stars%27
Weave Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 I have to think there is something outside of hockey that is becoming an issue for him. As big a D-bag as he was, there is always room for a guy who can play the game well and he has shown that he can play well in this league in the not too recent past.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 Not to mention...Boobs! Fantastic Boobs, lol
nobody Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 I have to think there is something outside of hockey that is becoming an issue for him. Not an issue - his passion is fashion!
WowieHousley Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 If an Avery falls in the woods, does anyone pick him up? http://espn.go.com/n...icially-retired Nobody is gonna want the Rangers' sloppy seconds.
Weave Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 Nobody is gonna want the Rangers' sloppy seconds. noice!
FogBat Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 Nobody is gonna want the Rangers' sloppy seconds. I had a feeling that someone was going to make reference to this.
mudberry Posted March 14, 2012 Report Posted March 14, 2012 I was never a Sean Avery fan, and probably haven't seen him play enough to establish a good healthy hatred of him but he was never a player I had an extreme amount of disdain for. He is a good pest, but he never pissed me off like Claude Lemieux, or Marchand. Those guys were/are true butt heads. Barnaby would probably piss me off more as a player, but as a fan I could respect him because he would fight anyone. By the way, does anyone remember Ray beating up Lemieux while Claude was trying to punch and run during a brawl? Great feel good moment, and few times you saw guys who play that style face justice.
Eleven Posted March 14, 2012 Report Posted March 14, 2012 When will you people learn to spell Sean Waivery's name correctly?
wjag Posted March 14, 2012 Report Posted March 14, 2012 When will you people learn to spell Sean Waivery's name correctly? Nice.. I see what you did there...
