... Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 That's the second nice and nasty play by Myers I saw this game. I like!
... Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Thank you Glad you figured in out, despite my dyslexia. I meant to type in RDS.
DumbPuck Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Man, that Ennis - Leino - Stafford line is so packed with puck-handling capability. But I foresee myself screaming "SHOOT" like a retard many a time in their presence.
... Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 This is great - not a one of them looks bad or awful.
DumbPuck Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Luke Adam seems to be a penalty king tonight :-/. Not smart ones either.
DumbPuck Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Bishop (Canadien) is down after attempting to put a rather hard hit into Kassian ... he just bounced off :-P EDIT: He's still down on the ice :-(. Hope he is alright ... holding his wrist. At the same time ... lol Kassian didn't even initiate that ?!?! Leaving the ice now with assistance ... locker room bound.
OverPowerYou Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 It's funny how Kassian unintentionally hurts people when they try to check him.
... Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Ought to be an entertaining third. My feed was practically in sync with WGR until it stuttered a couple of times. So far, the things that have stood out to me are: Gerbe looks fast, actually, the entire team seems a little faster. I love watching Enroth play. The PK looks rusty. Pominville looks pretty good considering his injury. Patty Lalime is doing commentary?
DumbPuck Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Not sure about Lalime... they definitely showed him mic-ed up. Yeh Gerbe has looked slick. Enroth and Miller both looked solid so far. The one goal on Enroth was not really on him... that whole 1-2 mins reminded me a bit of last year when we had issues clearing the puck.
DumbPuck Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Vanek got hit or something. Not serious ... but bleeding from the mouth.
... Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Vanek got hit or something. Not serious ... but bleeding from the mouth. It was Roy who was hit.
... Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 First big blunder I saw, and, granted, I did not see all of the first, was that give-away by MAGs.
wonderbread Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 It was Roy who was hit. Checking his chiclets as per RJ.
waldo Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 excellent possession in the zone that time, good puck movement. the whole teams seems to be going to the net better..itsonly game two
DumbPuck Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 lol nice .. missing RJ a lot with this French feed. Yeh MAG has been kinda off tonight.
DumbPuck Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Grags just got nailed behind our net. I'd like to see more hitting by our squad. Preseason or not.
DumbPuck Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 I guess I spoke to soon ... Kassian taking a penalty for a hit from behind .... wasn't nearly as hard as the hit on Grags either ... whatever
DumbPuck Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Having issues clearing the zone this period... at least the past few minutes. That PK was scary. It didn't improve much after getting back to even strength.
... Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Hmm. Don't like that they were having trouble clearing the zone.
SabresFan526 Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Something I am noticing tonight. Regehr is pinching and playing fairly aggressive in the offensive zone. That is very key to Lindy's system, but I always thought of Regehr as more of a stay at home type defenseman, but he's been pretty aggressive in the offensive zone. Conversely, I find Ehrhoff's play in the defensive zone underrated.
DumbPuck Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 They definitely are not making it easy on Enroth this third period.
