nfreeman Posted September 3, 2011 Report Posted September 3, 2011 1. Best was McNab, IMHO -- a consistently dangerous forward who could shoot it and pass it (although not much speed, IIRC). Favorite was Lindy. 2. Hard to see a material change in the # of majors, so it's really a 50/50 guess. I'll say more given a slight uptick in team toughness. The Sabres were tougher in the scrums around Miller last year than they were the year before that, and they will be tougher this year than last year. 3. Nothing exotic. Steak, chicken, zucchini, asparagus.
Eleven Posted September 3, 2011 Report Posted September 3, 2011 1. Ruff; hope that changes this season. 2. Fewer. 3. I'm not sure I'm going to cook.
nobody Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 1. Who was the best, or your favorite, Sabre to wear #22? Jocelyn Guevremont +142 in Blue/Gold is 4th best for Sabre D-men. Always surprised he hasn't gotten more Sabre Hall consideration. I'd probably give Lindy the edge but Guevremont is right up there and has one of the best hockey names ever.
Andrew Amerk Posted September 5, 2011 Report Posted September 5, 2011 1. Favorite: tie between Ruff and Vaive 2. About equal. We will be tougher this season, but more disciplined. 3. Didn't cook, due to being in NYC for the weekend. Had AMAZING sandwiches from Carnegie Deli, and delicious dessert from Serendipity 3
