Eleven Posted July 13, 2011 Report Posted July 13, 2011 I don't recall seeing this here and can't think of another thread to put it in. http://www.youtube.c...d&v=ybTau3xWNgg

biodork Posted July 13, 2011 Report Posted July 13, 2011 This sounds familiar... maybe it was linked during one of the games from that series? Still cracks me up, though. :clapping:
streetcarp77 Posted July 13, 2011 Report Posted July 13, 2011 that is fantastic  what is the name of the video so i can download to my phone? wait, nevermind
BuffaloSoldier2010 Posted July 13, 2011 Report Posted July 13, 2011 Someone mentioned it during the game.. First time i saw the video though. Did he do that with a wrist shot?
MattPie Posted July 13, 2011 Report Posted July 13, 2011 Someone mentioned it during the game.. First time i saw the video though. Did he do that with a wrist shot? As cool as that is, breaking the glass is just about hitting the right spot at the right angle, etc. Otherwise the 'big shots' (Chara, Myers(?), Warrener, etc.) would be breaking the glass all the time. A classic... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZA3YnGI09O0

I wonder if the newest/best owner in sports could possibly lure him away from his fishing boat for a bit of a "victory lap"?
Eleven Posted July 14, 2011 Author Report Posted July 14, 2011 As cool as that is, breaking the glass is just about hitting the right spot at the right angle, etc. That's why I think it was deliberate, especially after a couple of other Sabres took a shot at it. The comments on the vid imply that hitting the puck flat against the glass (picture a pancake hitting the glass face-on) is all that's needed; I'm not so sure about that, but I also don't really know. I've never tried to do it.
