I suppose that question's always going to come up with any player approaching 40. True, especially considering that the KHL only plays a 54/55 game schedule. so for three straight seasons he's been playing much less than a full NHL season. valid concern imo. but he looked really good last night

I thought the Bruins already did a home skate with the trophy on the ice on the day of their parade? I dunno, maybe it's just me, but new season, new story.. last season is over and I wouldn't touch it this season if I were a player

They have every reason to milk it. And besides, their season didn't start until that first puck drop. That being said, I am fairly certain you won't see another Bruin handling the Cup for the remainder of the season.

All eight of their goals have come in the third period. They may not win many games this season, I expect they will be entertaining at least. This is if the first two games are an indication of the season to come.

Not Byfuglien's fault he saw it coming and stiffened up. I'd bounce off of him too. Dude is huge. That said, I hope the Winnipeg fans get used to this.

But their coverage is still lacking. In my opinion it's kind of a joke, there should be at least two games on every day, one east and one west. And NHL Network should step in and show another game every night at 7. That way hockey fans have options. I can't imagine that Bull Riding and card games bring in more viewers than hockey games on Versus. Unfortunately we're looking at 10 years of two or three games a week on a Versus and sometimes NHL network shows HNIC... /mini rant

There are 2 NHL Center Ice HD channels listed on Time Warner, but even though it's a "free trial", one of them tells me "You need to subscribe to this channel blah blah." So looks like I only get to watch Colorado @ Boston... pfft
