The kicker is, I'm not even much of a beer drinker, and when I do, it is usually 1 or 2 Coors Light(Here come the beer connoisseurs after me). Maybe it's time to change my username.

'Canoe Beer' might be a fitting moniker. ;)

We could just call you 'CB' for short.

And Coors owns Labatt's main competitor, Molson. That makes you a traitor to your beer.

Now we can merge this thread with the FNC food thread.

Labatt is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev while Labatt USA is owned by North American Breweries which also owns Genesee among others.

Sounds like a spoof on Dos Equis. Labatt, the Most Interesting Poster on the Board.

You don't have to be a beer connoisseur to hate Coors Light.

...but the label tells me how cold the beer is, ya know because I lost all feeling in this magic device I have known as a hand (insert sexual innuendo joke here).

But it would be kind of cool if they labelled the bands with a 'truth in advertising' bent. The 2 bands could be labelled 'barely drinkable' and 'nearly tolerable.' Might hurt sales a little, but they'd at least know they're being honest and could feel good about that.

Warning: Only drink when drunk (but even then, don't bother)

Sean Avery put on waivers.

Anyone? Bueller?

The sad part is he can play - he just can't freaking keep his mouth shut. That, and Dallas seriously overpaid the guy. Cap hit of 3.8??? Seriously?

Good riddance.

His campaign in favor of gay marriage gained him some points in my eyes. Regardless of where you stand on the issue, you've got to admire the fact that he cares about SOMETHING other than his ego, puts some time into it, and, given this particular topic, has the stones to speak up.

I still wouldn't want him on the Sabres, mind you, but he's only half an asshat now.

A plus for you, a minus for others. Frankly, I like my athletes to stay out of politics.

And Avery is a total asshat no matter what his favorite cable news network may be.

I agree, his ad did change my feelings about him a little.

Sidenote: would the 'sh' in 'asshat' be pronounced like the 'sh' in 'ship' or the 'sh' in 'dishonor'?

Jack Kemp still got you pissed off?

There are always exceptions, but I would rather talk to my dog about politics than hear what Ray Lewis or Sean Avery have to say about our national debt or the war against terrorism - my dog is at least as qualified to speak on the topic, and he will lick my hand if I scold him for saying something stupid.
