Matty Ice Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 Welcome to the board, but for future notice, you probably don't want to cut and paste an entire article like that. There's some major copyright issues with doing that. Thanks!, and sorry about that. Lesson learned.
LGR4GM Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 Thanks!, and sorry about that. Lesson learned. If you paraphrased or summarized you would be in the clear. Although you only did it once and you cited your source so I would say you are flirting with fair use and I think it was a good post. Welcome Aboard!
Eleven Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 Bruins successfully petitioned for Savard's name to be on the Cup.
dEnnis the Menace Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 Bruins successfully petitioned for Savard's name to be on the Cup. I think that's a good thing.
Eleven Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 I think that's a good thing. Definitely--or, as they say over at Two Bills Drive, "definately."
dEnnis the Menace Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 Definitely--or, as they say over at Two Bills Drive, "definately." I love all of the grammatical errors over there. I get a good laugh over it, and just think that most of those posters wouldn't last a day over here.

thesportsbuff Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 I think it's a wonderful and respectful gesture. But just to stir the pot a little bit: If the Sabres had won the cup at all between 2006-2009, would you guys want Connolly's name on it? I bet I can think of a few people who would argue he doesn't deserve it. For the record I think Savard does deserve to be included, and I think TC would have deserved it as well had the Sabres accomplished the feat.

He'd be too busy refilling it to notice the writing on the outside, anyway.
dEnnis the Menace Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 We keep you around, don't we? touche good sir...well played.
Andrew Amerk Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 He'd be too busy refilling it to notice the writing on the outside, anyway. Yeah, with wine. Welcome to the board Matty Ice.
spndnchz Posted September 13, 2011 Author Report Posted September 13, 2011 He'd be too busy refilling it to notice the writing on the outside, anyway. Reminds me, I talked/saw Roy out this weekend.
Andrew Amerk Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 Reminds me, I talked/saw Roy out this weekend. Wonder who was filling his other 84 beds while he was gone.
FogBat Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 Definitely--or, as they say over at Two Bills Drive, "definately." Even some of the brightest people out there aren't the best spellers. My wife may be smarter than I am, but I usually have to proofread her stuff to catch the spelling errors (and sometimes grammar).
qwksndmonster Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 Reminds me, I talked/saw Roy out this weekend. You talked Roy out? Talked Roy out of what? Talked him out of trying to get more money on his next contract?
spndnchz Posted September 14, 2011 Author Report Posted September 14, 2011 Wonder who was filling his other 84 beds while he was gone. So because I saw him out at a bar I slept with him? nice. In fact it was a short conversation ending with me asking "So who was grabing your balls in that picture?"

In fact it was a short conversation ending with me asking "So who was grabing your balls in that picture?" I think AA was referring to the summer house in Ontario (which is not exactly within driving distance of a Buffalo restaurant or bar...) & not implying that you had slept with him. It would have been totally awesome had you said that to him, though.

It would have been totally awesome had you said that to him, though. He's been back for a few weeks. And I did say that to him. Needless to say the conversation was over. The girls he was with gave me a hard time but I just had to say it. :D

spndnchz Posted September 14, 2011 Author Report Posted September 14, 2011 Marchand signed by Bruins 2 yrs 5 million total. There ya go Mr Ennis.
X. Benedict Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 Marchand signed by Bruins 2 yrs 5 million total. There ya go Mr Ennis. That sounds about right.
wjag Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 Marchand signed by Bruins 2 yrs 5 million total. There ya go Mr Ennis. So that was all subterfuge and posturing by agent/team...
