Jsixspd Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 Yea well, NHL Network replaced the Caps' game with the Penguins-Preds game because.....Radulov is making his debut! Yea baby! So stupid. That sucks. I'm streaming the Caps/Flyers game in another tab via First Row Sports EU site. Not as good as watching in HD though. 1-0 Washington - figures the Flyers can't get it done in the one game I'm rooting for them in.
Taro T Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 That must have been a last minute switch. The box score even still says the Caps game is on NHL Network. Not sure how the NHL can just go through locally and black out Panthers games so people will watch another game. Not sure, but last year the Sabres - Ducks game was blacked out so that Versus could have an 'exclusive rights' game with somebody else. Couldn't even see that game in Buffalo. -- ANNNND now the Caps / Phlyers are tied.
FogBat Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Yea well, NHL Network replaced the Caps' game with the Penguins-Preds game because.....Radulov is making his debut! Yea baby! So stupid. Everyone deserves a rude awakening every once in a while. (Not you, TrueBlue, but Radulov). -- ANNNND now the Caps / Phlyers are tied. I have to wonder if the Flyers are going to allow the Caps to tie the game and then pull it off in OT with the intent of trying to make sure our boys don't make the playoffs.
FogBat Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 I wouldn't be surprised if the Pens are hoping we'll beat the Rangers tomorrow night, making it easier for them to overtake them for tops in the conference. I guess we can take some solace that the Caps only got a point tonight.
nucci Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Good call. Quinn and his bigger nets don't sound so crazy now, do they? Maybe we should return goalies to the 75 lb horsehair filled leather pads of days gone by. Not sure Miller could get back up with those on. Look at the size of the goalies here.
apuszczalowski Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 She's a celebrity? Even so call celebrity seems like a stretch. Kind of like Janet Gretzky, was she really much of a celebrity before she became "the great ones wife"?
carpandean Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Josh Denny @JoshDenny @noureendewulf I bet rather than sex, Ryan just stands in front of your "goal" and sees how many other guys he can stop. #goalieboning I bet he stops the hard ones, but lets in the occasional softy.
That Aud Smell Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 I bet he stops the hard ones, but lets in the occasional softy. marvelous. just fantastic work.
Bmwolf21 Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Kind of like Janet Gretzky, was she really much of a celebrity before she became "the great ones wife"? Hey! She was in Police Academy 5: Miami Beach and A League of their Own. She's a star!!!!!!!!!!!!
apuszczalowski Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Hey! She was in Police Academy 5: Miami Beach and A League of their Own. She's a star!!!!!!!!!!!! well if she was part of the cast of Police Academy 5, then I guess superstar A-List Celebrity is teh best way to describe her. Maybe Wayne should have taken her last name, give himself a boost and maybe get his name more well known!
Eleven Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 So, tomorrow's opponents are already comfortably situated in their Buffalo hotel rooms. That always seems weird to me, when the visiting team is he but the home team is not
nobody Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 So, tomorrow's opponents are already comfortably situated in their Buffalo hotel rooms. That always seems weird to me, when the visiting team is he but the home team is not Isn't this the best thing? Now they have a full day to be bored and stare at horrible views.
Eleven Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Isn't this the best thing? Now they have a full day to be bored and stare at horrible views. Hopefully neither. Minny is so out of the race that their coach just might let 'em loose for whatever it is that hangs out on Chip, and the views of the lake--well, maybe it's too late.
Taro T Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Hopefully neither. Minny is so out of the race that their coach just might let 'em loose for whatever it is that hangs out on Chip, and the views of the lake--well, maybe it's too late. Well, it would be a horrible thing if the fire alarm in the hotel went off at 5AM. Like LtCG would say: 'git 'er done.' ;)
Eleven Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Well, it would be a horrible thing if the fire alarm in the hotel went off at 5AM. Like LtCG would say: 'git 'er done.' ;) If you had such powers, hypothetically, and could use them only once in your LIFE, hypothetically, and even then, with some serious risk to your career, would it be against the Minny Wild this weekend? I'm goin' with no. Gimme some Finals.
shrader Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Someone could set the wild's equipment truck on fire.
TrueBlueGED Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 If you had such powers, hypothetically, and could use them only once in your LIFE, hypothetically, and even then, with some serious risk to your career, would it be against the Minny Wild this weekend? I'm goin' with no. Gimme some Finals. If(when!) we get to the Finals again, I want a city-wide effort to win. And that includes executives who could hypothetically put somebody's job at risk for some hypothetical action. We need everyone from the poor to the suits making things happen!

I'm goin' with no. Gimme some Finals. Well, hypothetically speaking, you need a dry run at some point in time to make certain the system is, ahem, functioning properly. It's never good to wait until the last minute for such testing.
spndnchz Posted March 24, 2012 Author Report Posted March 24, 2012 Someone could set the wild's equipment truck on fire. Where is that Mbossy guy when u need him?
Jsixspd Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 I wouldn't even joke about that stuff, guys, in a public forum.
inkman Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 I bet he stops the hard ones, but lets in the occasional softy. True but the softies are usually long and occasionally he lets in a strange one from behind.
carpandean Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 True but the softies are usually long ... And mostly from guys on the back end. and occasionally he lets in a strange one from behind. I'm sensing a pattern.
FogBat Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Hopefully neither. Minny is so out of the race that their coach just might let 'em loose for whatever it is that hangs out on Chip, and the views of the lake--well, maybe it's too late. Yeah, she was ever so folksy...
biodork Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Connolly with a sick SO goal against Lundquist. Rangers still win, though.
