We had beer holders on top of the urinals. It was previously called the top of the urinal!
spndnchz Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 We had beer holders on top of the urinals. It was previously called the top of the urinal! OMG that's gross. What's worse? top of the urinal (men) or resting it on the bathroom floor inside the stall (ladies)?
neverenough Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 OMG that's gross. What's worse? top of the urinal (men) or resting it on the bathroom floor inside the stall (ladies)? Hmmmm i've never heard of a man that pees over the top of a urinal but then again i've seen some pretty drunk people. Never been a fan of useing the restroom with my drink down below so i would say ( ladies )
beerme1 Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 Somebody needs to get me a pic of the guys john. Always teasing aren't you? lol I thought they said they weren't going to the shelf for spillage issues.
sweeper Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 Always teasing aren't you? lol I thought they said they weren't going to the shelf for spillage issues. Well, from the sound of it, it's not a shelf. It's a beer (cup) holder.
Insomniac Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 Well, from the sound of it, it's not a shelf. It's a beer (cup) holder. Ideally I think a shelf would be better. More surface area and MUCH easier to clean for the poor custodians than individual cup holders.

Then I just get a new drink on the way back to my seat...much more rewarding lol
korab rules Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 A shelf? Why don't they just install a holster in the side wall of the stall? All the Sabres pee sitting down anyway, right?
korab rules Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 OMG that's gross. What's worse? top of the urinal (men) or resting it on the bathroom floor inside the stall (ladies)? As was discussed before, this is absolutely unacceptable. Hold the cup in your teeth, or in your off hand held up high while TCB. Learn to work your fly with one hand. It pays dividends in so many other ways than holding a beer in the bathroom. As to your question posed above - it depends on whether its the men's urinal or the kiddie height. If kiddie height, women's floor, because guys use the kiddie urinals too. If regular height urinal, I would choose the urinal. Drunks chicks trying to hover make one hell of a mess.
SDS Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 Am I the only one who chooses not th pay $8 for domestic "beer" or whatever Bud/Miller/Coors calls that light, watery yellow stuff? I just go and watch the game (at any venue).
LastPommerFan Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 There should be 2 TVs in the bathroom, one showing the game, and another with a continuously looped PSA on Bathroom Beer Hygiene. Sabrespace can write the script.

korab rules Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 I would refuse to pay $1 for that. The Canadian and Blue on tap however... They also have Blue and blue light and Candian in the 22 or 24 oz cans that they pour in cups for you. I would not pay $8.00 for a cup of domestic swill.
Weave Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 Flying Bison Aviator red up in the 300 section or Jim Beam on the rocks from out front or 200 section. I'd rather have something of substance at inflated prices than pale weak fizzy water at inflated prices.
shrader Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 They should just give those beer helmets to all ticket holders of age. No need for cup holders, they just put the beer on their head. Then they can drink and pee at the same time.
spndnchz Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 I would refuse to pay $1 for that. The Canadian and Blue on tap however... The only problem with the taps at HSBC is that thy don't clean all the cleaner out of them correctly. Those lines are really long and they don't do a good job of cleaning them. One beer I had tasted like it had cayenne pepper in it. Naturally I took it back and dared the vendor to taste it.

MMMMmmmm - pepper beer is good - especially with Mexican or other spicy food!
shrader Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 MMMMmmmm - pepper beer is good - especially with Mexican or other spicy food! Yeah, I was thinking that they combined the wings and the beer into one tasty beverage.
spndnchz Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011  Exactly. Only bottles or the Aviator Red on tap (little stand, short tap lines).

I've bitching about it for two years now on the club level. I expect the problem to be corrected this season. I did however find a good tap with a keg directly under it pouring Stella at one of the side bars and have only bought Stella on tap there for the most part now but I want to go to the main bar. I had heard from someone there they may start serving tall cans at the main bar to. We will see soon.
