Alaska Darin Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Free agency hasn't even started and we've got 2 real NHL defensemen and the whole hockey world is talking about Buffalo. The end of the world must be close, right?
Robviously Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Free agency hasn't even started and we've got 2 real NHL defensemen and the whole hockey world is talking about Buffalo. The end of the world must be close, right? Damn it, maybe those Mayans were right after all.
darksabre Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Damn it, maybe those Mayans were right after all. I'm cool with it.
Robviously Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 I'm cool with it. Just so long as the world ends at the end of 2012, i.e. after the 2012 playoffs.
Eric in Akron Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Free agency hasn't even started and we've got 2 real NHL defensemen and the whole hockey world is talking about Buffalo. The end of the world must be close, right? Funny... I told my wife about 10 minutes ago that knowing my luck either the rapture, the end of world, or Hell would freeze over at some point this year.
thesportsbuff Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Seriously I would not be shocked if the Sabres started the season on a 30-game winning streak and the world ended hahaha
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 I am worried about the end of times
wnyguy Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Yes, I gotta believe this is surely a sign of the apocalypse. It's too unbelievable.
LastPommerFan Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Damn it, maybe those Mayans were right after all. I'm cool with it. Just so long as the world ends at the end of 2012, i.e. after the 2012 playoffs. They're saying May 21st, 2012. GODDAMMIT! I knew this was too good to be true.
cdexchange Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 With our luck the Sabres will win 97 in a row next year and then the meteor will hit.

North Buffalo Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Free agency hasn't even started and we've got 2 real NHL defensemen and the whole hockey world is talking about Buffalo. The end of the world must be close, right? Great to see you commenting on a real sport...
Eleven Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 XC has to be building some sort of underground lair right now.
Scotty Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 RING...RING...RING... "Yeah Hello?" ..... "I'll take a look...." ..... "You know what it is getting a little cooler, now that you mention it!" <STAY TUNED>
cdexchange Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Nice avatar. Did you make that? haha, thanks, but I just used one of those online "tombstone generator" websites. Although I didn't make it from the scratch, the sentiment is spot-on.
Knightrider Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Nah... The meteor hits when we find out TP is also a huge football fan, and had just bought the Bills, too.
calti Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Free agency hasn't even started and we've got 2 real NHL defensemen and the whole hockey world is talking about Buffalo. The end of the world must be close, right? harold camping predicted these moves
IKnowPhysics Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 It should be noted that our giddiness as a fanbase was referenced several times today on TSN. The analysts were excited that we were excited, noting that local sports talk radio was optimistic instead of debating between the two normal topics: doom and gloom vs gloom and doom.
qwksndmonster Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Nah... The meteor hits when we find out TP is also a huge football fan, and had just bought the Bills, too. I have said over and over to my brother that Terry needs to buy the Bills. I mean... Why not? The Bills are quite obviously threatening 15 straight 19-0 seasons. The revenue from that would certainly help out the Sabres.
