Drunkard Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 He's already listed on the roster of the official site. Hot damn that was quick! http://sabres.nhl.com/club/roster.htm
frissonic Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=370500 this is ridiculous, though in a really, really good way. as my wife put it, "are they going to leave anyone for the other teams?" to which i replied, "i do not give one good effing damn about what any other team does; we're going aggressive, and it's paying off." hot frickin diggety dog. october cannot get here soon enough.
iliketofrolic666 Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 NO! Ehrhoff = Stanley Cup One! Let's go to the top, Stanley Cup > Superbowl It was a joke, but let's just keep that between you and me.
LastPommerFan Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Now we can all sleep in until noon!!!!!!!!!!!! It's gonna take a couple trips to the beer store if I expect to get any sleep between now and then. The Heat didn't have this good of an off-season last summer. Now we sign a defensive center and I will have received everything I wished for....
ROC Sabres Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 All I can say is... WHHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Lindy looks like he's saying it too.
Lanny Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 I'm aware, I was just wondering if there's a secondary buyout period before the season starts or if she just made a mistake. Oh I see, you're right, buyout period ended today.
LGR4GM Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Darcy Regier: who would you rather have on your team? A tough hardnose defender like Robyn Regehr or a smooth skating offensive defensemen like Christian Ehrhoff... Terry Pegula's answer: hmmm, i choose both.
... Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Lindy looks like he's saying it too. I would, too, if I were him. :worthy:
nucci Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 He's already listed on the roster of the official site. Hot damn that was quick! http://sabres.nhl.com/club/roster.htm He was technically on the roster as soon as we traded for his rights yesterday.
thesportsbuff Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Awaiting confirmation on this, but hearing Ehrhoff's deal in Buffalo is 10 years, $40 million. No clue yet on structure within that. - TSN Mckenzie
ROC Sabres Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 10 year for 40 mil according to Bob Mck. That's cheap if you ask me.
SDS Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Lord Almighty, take one little plane ride and all hell breaks loose!
Lanny Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Awaiting confirmation on this, but hearing Ehrhoff's deal in Buffalo is 10 years, $40 million. No clue yet on structure within that.Holy Moly
korab rules Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 10 year for 40 mil according to Bob Mck. That's a little different than 5.4 x 3.
Jeanbe Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 10 year for 40 mil according to Bob Mck. Wow. Still speechless. Can't wait for the season to start!
Robviously Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 About 2 days ago. Thought Regehr said it. Not a free agent though. Regehr's only options were canceling the trade to stay in Calgary or coming to Buffalo.
darksabre Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Awaiting confirmation on this, but hearing Ehrhoff's deal in Buffalo is 10 years, $40 million. No clue yet on structure within that. - TSN Mckenzie Good lord. And I assume it's VERY front loaded.
Campy Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 To the mods: sorry, I missed the pinned thread's update. I've watched a bunch of 'Nucks games over the past few years, and let's be honest, Ehrhoff isn't exactly the next Bobby Orr. That said, he's a huge get for Bflo, and the thought of both Regehr and Ehrhoff added to an already decent blueline has me wishing the season started tomorrow. Congrats to Darcy and Sabres management!
ROC Sabres Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Good lord. And I assume it's VERY front loaded. Believe so, probably starting the first 2-4 around 5 or 6 then dropping to 3ish??? How's my math?
Hockey Heaven Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Ehrhoff agent Rick Curran: "he wants to go to a team where he can win." That's what's so sweet.... some of the best out there WANT to come here.
Hockey Heaven Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 About 2 days ago. Thought Regehr said it. Good one.
ROC Sabres Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 That's what's so sweet.... some of the best out there WANT to come here. Welcome aboard. Great Name. Even better reply.
spndnchz Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 With that deal we have close to 10 mill for Richards.
MDFan Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 If 10 for 40 is correct on Ehrhoff, what do you think it will take to lock up Myers?
