That Aud Smell Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 i quite like threads that digress and meander, and thereby evolve -- compartmentalization is the hobgoblin of a simple mind.

That Aud Smell Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 Do hobgoblins have more hit points than orcs? I can't remember. mos def. orcs were total broadsword fodder in the world of gary gygax. goblins were a little nastier, hobgoblins a bit nastier still. and while it makes no sense, i always thought of those daylight-enduring uruk-hai from the LOTR movies as hobgoblins. even though a master race of orcs would have nothing to do with goblins, but would rather have likely been a cross-breeding of orc and ogre. :bag:

(mostly because I have little idea what you just wrote, so I'm incapable of agreeing more. ) After reading this a few times I think I follow.. GG - D&D founder LOTR - Lord of the Rings Yes, now I have +3 charisma.
