... Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 Damn, I don't think the Canucks can do a better imitation of the Sabres.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 This game blows!!!! Vancouver didn't show for this one at all, if they don't wake up they can easily give the series back to boston. And we thought Vancouver would have the advantage with travel
bunomatic Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 The canucks are real good at throwing their heads back.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 Its true it was a shoulder and clean in that sense but doesn't the fact that it was late make it dirty? It wasn't overly late, and didn't appear intentional, a suspension shouldn't be warranted although I believe one will come
bunomatic Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 It wasn't overly late, and didn't appear intentional, a suspension shouldn't be warranted although I believe one will come Shanny is probably looking to set the tone.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 Shanny is probably looking to set the tone. I agree and hate to admit that its def true. I think if Rome does get suspended then Boston gets a big break. Hortons injury has really picked the Bs game up, couver needs to counter somehow
Wyldnwoody44 Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 Thomas has been a stud! He def kept his team in early, impressive effort for sure, too bad he plays for a team that I despise
Guest Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 I wish Jonesy would smack Milbury in the teeth. Milbury complains about the hit to Horton and says this is when the league needs to send a message. Now the jackass just told all of the people watching that Boston needs to send some payback in the last 5 minutes of the game? Which is it Mike.....okay to play dirty or not? What a douchebag. I am sure the NHL brass loves him telling national TV that Boston needs to go headhunting. What a homer, in fact this whole crew has been ballwashing the Bruins since the game began.

Watch the CBC feed and you'll see the opposite ballwashing. At least when the canucks are winning. Glen Healy is terrible.
thesportsbuff Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 I can't tell the Sedins apart but that's two ridiculously obvious dives/fake injuries I've seen from them. They're losing points in my book.
SwampD Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 I think you're going to find yourself in the minority on that call. I'm on his side. Not only was that hit not late, but it wasn't blindside. There should have been no call.

Knightrider Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 It wasn't overly late, and didn't appear intentional, a suspension shouldn't be warranted although I believe one will come It sure seemed late to me. Even before the stoppage I was thinking obvious interference. Man, good for Danny.

I'm going to assume you're joking. You are, right? Right?  He took at least three strides AFTER the puck left his stick (Horton that is, not Rome, as Rome was mostly stationary and not taking strides when the pass was made).

The hit was a bit late, but not a headshot. Horton should have looked to his right  Kind of reminded me of the Neil hit on Drury years back.

I'm not joking and he didn't even take one full stride.
OverPowerYou Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 They're playing Swords of A Thousand Men in the arena. That's weird. It's funny how much you pay attention to the non-important things of a hockey game when the game isn't even close anymore.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 This is just ugly, lucic is dirty as hell, and vancouver needs to regroup...... it was only a matter of time before boston got dirty. I would hope couver shows up next name
darksabre Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 Wacky game. Glad Boston won. Vancouver going up 3-0 would have been no fun.
