Guess this is why you win the President's Trophy, to have the final game in your barn.

Gotta say though, the Canucks are looking shaky.

Thoughts on Marchand punching Sedin 7 times and Daniel doing nothing? What is he supposed to do? He retaliates then Marchand jumps him. He does nothing and looks weak. I can't decide what he should do there. The next shift someone really should just grab Marchand and take a penalty because that looked bad on Sedin's end.

Well when looking at the game as a whole, other than those 4 minutes in the first period after they showed Horton on the jumbotron, Boston didn't do squat. I know they sat back once they got the lead, but once Schneider came in the game was even from there on out 2-2, and if that one clanker off the post early in the third went in, it could of changed the whole outcome. I'm sure cottonmouth Claude can't be too happy with the way the third period went. Should be a doozie Wednesday night.

After seeing how many Vancouver fans were in the streets watching the game, I'd really like to see them get the Cup. Not those fake ass fans in Boston. I didn't pay attention tonight, but in games 3 and 4 The Garden was emptying out during the third period. Gotta love that New England loyalty. And I think I threw up in my mouth when Dan Patrick started talking about how every team from Boston seems to have that little "spark plug" type of player on the team. Welker on the Pats, Pedroia on the Red Sox, Rondo on the Celtics and Marchand on the Bruins. Are you kidding me??? I'm sure you could find a smallish type player on any given roster in any given sport and in any freaking city you ass hat. Gee...how bout Parrish on the Bills and Gerbe on the Sabres Dan, you know....those two teams in Buffalo? I usually don't mind Patrick either, but the Milbury, MacGuire, Roenick, Eddie O lovefest with Boston seems to have rubbed off on him.

Oh yeah, one more gripe about the coverage. During the post game on Versus JR said how great it was to see them show Horton on the jumbotron and how it fired up the players and fans and then Boston scored 3 more goals right after. Then he went on to mention Mason Raymond for about 2 seconds right before they cut to commercial and said real quick..."I hope he's alright". The Boston ballwashing gets worse by the game.

Has there been any word on the injury to Raymond? The hit by Boychuk on him still isn't sitting well with me. I understand finishing a check but he has to recognize that hitting Raymond in the position he was is dangerous. I'll give him credit though, he immediately went to see if Raymond was okay.

If Sedin went back at him he would of gotten a misconduct guaranteed. Only Boston is allowed to cheapshot after the whistle. Just ask Chara.

Are you sure he was checking on him? That's what I was thinking when I first saw his reaction but then I saw his stick was still caught up under Raymond and he turned back to grab the stick. I didn't really hear anything else on that but I may have missed something.

I dont know for sure, that's just what I thought it looked like. He didn't go over and start tugging at the stick or anything so he must have recognized something was wrong. It's just too bad he didn't use his head and let up on that play.

Hope I'm not stealing someone's line here (haven't read the whole thread), but if the Canucks win in another close game, it will be like a Presidential candidate losing the popular vote in landslide, but somehow winning the election due to the electoral college vote.

Don't bring that up around Al Gore.

This reminds me an awful lot of the 2001 World Series. The D'Backs pounded the Yankees in Arizona, the Yankees won three low-scoring, 1-run games in NY and were about to win the series going to the 9th inning of Game 7.

I can't stand the national love for Boston, either. Fox/ESPN does it with the Red Sox, CBS does it with the Patsies, and the ABC/ESPN does it with the Celtics. I suppose when they're winning, however, this is what we have to put up with.

Start crying and have Marchand drown in the tears?

I didn't like that hit at all, but in all honesty, I don't know if he could've let up much on that. And then on top of that the B's fans were classless in chanting at Luongo while the guy is in pain on the ice. I understand you're pumped as a fan, but when someone is injured on the ice, show some respect. Hell, if RIT's Corner crew can, I bet Boston Fans could...

I'm pumped for a game 7, not that I'm going to be able to watch it. Luongo will more than likely start in net in Vancouver. Just look at his numbers in Vancouver, not only in this series, but over the course of the playoffs.

This series has shown the advantage of home ice and why it is important. I'm hoping the trend continues, because I seriously hate all that is Boston, but I have to say, it has been an interesting series, even if there has been little controversies.

All I can say now is that I know for sure that Wednesday will be the end of the 2010-2011 season, and the 24th and July 1st need to hurry up then!

I wanted Vancouver at the beginning of the series and actually pulled for them the most after the Sabres were eliminated. If anyone thinks that the Sabres have been soft in the past, take a look at the high flying pansies known as the Nucks.......Oh my GOD! Between the diving, the cheap shots, the biting and NOW Sedin getting punched 5 times with zero retaliation? Are you kidding me with this pathetic group? This is freakin' game 6 of the CUP! I hope the Cup goes to the team with a heart still beating which is certainly NOT Vancouver...

I'm pretty sure Sedin was hoping for an instigator call there. I can't really blame him for it... well, except that he should have realized that the NHL would immediately rescind any suspension.

I think I have now come to the point that I want Boston to lose this series just as badly as I'd want to Sabres to win it. I hate Boston. Those that were around no doubt remember this, and it was the very beginning of my hatred of the Bruins. F Boston.

I was only 7 when that happened, but I still specifically remember that goal.

clearly you're not listening to joe buck when he calls their games...he openly despises the red sox.

The one side-story I'm thinking about

Vancouver founded 1970....Boston last won in 1972 .....

That's 78 years of hardware exile...something has to give.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that, too ...

Either way, one team that hasn't won it in about as long as the Sabres (Bruins' last Cup was in 1972) is going to end that drought this year.

;)
