X. Benedict Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Loungo, H. Sedin, Kesler, Tim Thomas, Chara, Krieji, Bieksa? I am going with Ryan Kesler.
X. Benedict Posted June 1, 2011 Author Report Posted June 1, 2011 Missing 4-7 games of data ... Prediction?
carpandean Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Prediction? I agree that Kesler is the current favorite, but he's not so far ahead that a strong series by one of several others couldn't change that.
OverPowerYou Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 The winning goalie will get the Conn Smythe because every game will be 1-0
R_Dudley Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 I agree that Kesler is the current favorite, but he's not so far ahead that a strong series by one of several others couldn't change that. Ditto that fine analysis above. However since X is asking for a prediction, I will predict that if Boston wins it, it will be because of Tim Thomas and thus go to him. I will also go on record as saying if Canucks win it I will buck the favorite and pick Mr Sedin as the one who steps up this series and walks away with it
Weave Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Kesler if the Nucks win, Thomas if Boston wins seems about right. Those two are the likely big shoulders for the series.
Taro T Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Kessler, unless the B's stretch it to 7, and then we see the rare but not unheard of losing team's goalie gets it and they give it to Thomas.
OverPowerYou Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Kessler, unless the B's stretch it to 7, and then we see the rare but not unheard of losing team's goalie gets it and they give it to Thomas. I believe J.S. Gigeure in 03 was the last losing goalie to win it.
VansTheMans Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Kesler for the Canucks. Kid has RIDICULOUS heart. Thomas for the Bruins. On a side note: Anyone see how poorly Chara was handling the puck last night?
Eleven Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Smythe. Again, can someone re-title the thread so we don't look like a bunch of rubes? Geez.
Eleven Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Smythe. Again, can someone re-title the thread so we don't look like a bunch of rubes? Geez. Thanks again, someone.
X. Benedict Posted June 3, 2011 Author Report Posted June 3, 2011 Smythe. Again, can someone re-title the thread so we don't look like a bunch of rubes? Geez. X. Benedict regrets the spelling. :)
SwampD Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 X. Benedict regrets the spelling. :) I think he just called you a rube.
X. Benedict Posted June 3, 2011 Author Report Posted June 3, 2011 I think he just called you a rube. I just think silent "e"'s are overrated.
Weave Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 I just think silent "e"'s are overrated. So you would say he called you a rub?
X. Benedict Posted June 3, 2011 Author Report Posted June 3, 2011 So you would say he called you a rub? Does Y really need it. There seems to be no rhym or reason for it.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 And yet another glourious day here at the reading rainbow : )
X. Benedict Posted June 3, 2011 Author Report Posted June 3, 2011 And yet another glourious day here at the reading rainbow : ) is that with that star trek dude? I was thinking Electric Company.
Eleven Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 I think this year it gets shared between Gregory and Colin Campbell. Not for the Rome suspension--that was deserved--but for ignoring other Bruin transgressions as posted in the SCF thread.
Taro T Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 I think this year it gets shared between Gregory and Colin Campbell. Not for the Rome suspension--that was deserved--but for ignoring other Bruin transgressions as posted in the SCF thread. IF (and I know I'm going to throwup in my mouth a bit just writing this next phrase) the Bruins win and Colie celebrates w/ them; especially if it happens in BC, I hope somebody beans him in the head w/ a shoe.
nobody Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 So far it's Tim Thomas in a landslide. Just as long there is no 'sportsmanship' aspect tied to the award. :)
