lalalalalaFontaine Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Hahaha I saw boyes and Roy at bayou on Thursday night! Boyes had his shirt off behind the bar haha ... and now that there is all this excitement downtown, maybe McGahee will want to come back...!!!
BlueNGold Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 and I found it mildly distressing that, after coming back from a two month absence and playing in the elimination game, he would be out and about trolling for cooze so soon. I mean, I'm well aware that the only reason Roy played in game 7 was because of Connolly being out but I really didn't think it was appropriate for him to be out and about when A) had we won game 7 we'd been in the middle of a tough series and B) had Connolly not gotten hurt he may still be on the shelf. We're all aware that there has been a long history of this team having issues with partying all night. Does this bother anyone else or am I nitpicking? This might be the best definition of the quote: "Better to remain silent and thought an IDIOT, than to speak out and remove all doubt!". :censored:
LGR4GM Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 My ferret just died... and its 2:21 and I am kinda miserable so I am gonna post it here in this god forsaken thread that no one will read or care about. I buried him in the backyard and my fiance is in tears because she had him for over 6 years. I dont care if I wake up tomorrow to some mocking reply, somethings in this world are more important than whether or not roy was downtown. ...fml
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 and I found it mildly refreshing that, after coming back from a 4+ month absence and playing in the elimination game, he would be out and about mingling with people from the WNY. I mean, I'm well aware that the only reason Roy played in game 7 was because of Connolly being out? I really think it was appropriate for him to be out and about when: A) they had just lost game 7 and just lost a tough series; and B) Connolly was hurt and is never wearing Blue and Gold again.
Weave Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Is anyone else thinking that posts 30-32 make absolutely no sense after the two threads were mergified?
Eleven Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Is anyone else thinking that posts 30-32 make absolutely no sense after the two threads were mergified? Several of the posts in this thread made no sense before. KTN, I am sorry to learn of your ferret's demise. That sux.

But I thank you for posting here and allowing me to get something out of this weird thread that I unfortunately read through entirely because I thought there was something behind it with 34 posts. Aside from your story, there wasn't. Great to year Roy's quad is healed enough to contract eccentrically from pertubation forces that occur with intoxication. That's just sound rehab if you ask me.
SabresFan526 Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 I wonder if he had dinner at an Indian restaurant prior to going out on the town last night. That would have made for a better story.

I don't know if you're nitpicking, but I'd say you were reaching, assuming Derek was actually out there looking for WOMEN. Oh and to the guy with the ferret, I feel for your loss.

Oh and to the guy with the ferret, I feel for your loss. He was walking along with one very obnoxious bro and no broads were within arms reach.
Tatonka Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 It's the off-season. Had they won Game 7, they'd be in the middle of a tough series and he wouldn't be out on the bar crawl -- they didn't. I'm actually glad he's out at the bars having fun and mingling with the Buffalo people, rather than flying out of town and tweeting about how much the city sucks... Amen TheSportsbuff. I like the fact he is boozing in Buffalo. Hockey Heaven should have a well stocked bar after all.
IKnowPhysics Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 no broads were within arms reach. Well he IS 5'9", he's got short arms. Also BREAKING NEWS: NHL PLAYERS TECHNICALLY CLASSIFIED AS PEOPLE. I'd be more worried if he weren't out having fun.
