Overeducated Homer Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Get out of the second with a lead please... please.... Our prayers were answered. Now I guess we will be visiting the Alamo.
Lanny Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 My nerves aren't gonna handle this, and we're not even in the 3rd. Thought you gave up?:)
Kristian Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 They lost control for only 10 minutes. The game I've watched has the Flyers in control, but they have a crappy goalie?
DR HOLLIDAY Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 The game I've watched has the Flyers in control, but they have a crappy goalie? I don't agree with this.......The Momentum has swung back and forth several times.......
wjag Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 So Pronger is a decoy, and the Flyers goalies are fakes... 20 minutes of all out war.. all out war..
Simon Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 I hope Coach makes it very clear that they are not going to win this game 4-3.
sabres1970 Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Lindy, keep the boys fired up, keep the intensity. Shots are the key, that's obvious with the Gerbe goal. 20 more minutes, not over but if we keep it up we'll be fine.
ThePebble19 Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 The next 20 minutes brought to you by The Alamo. Come visit, once you're here you wont be able to leave. Note...the alamo has no basement.
Overeducated Homer Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 First question of intermission is "So, Philadelphia should feel great about themselves, right?" Beg pardon?
McD Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Haven't paid much attention, BUT Millbury does seem to favor Philly... Course, they did win that period.
wjag Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 First question of intermission is "So, Philadelphia should feel great about themselves, right?" Beg pardon? It was pretty comical.. I'm sure the Flyers are in there saying, we got this. And then some smurf is going to come sailing in and beat Boucher..
Overeducated Homer Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 It was pretty comical.. I'm sure the Fluers are in there saying, we got this. And then some smurf is going to come sailing in and beat Boucher.. Exactly... I could see discussing how the Flyers won the period, but to glide over the fact that they killed a 5-on-3 only to give up a goal on a 1-on-4 break is indeed comical.
biodork Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Aw come on, DirecTV, don't do this to me... why are you suddenly "searching for signal" when it's not even storming here? Please fix yourself by the time intermission is over.
Lanny Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Haven't paid much attention, BUT Millbury does seem to favor Philly... Course, they did win that period. Thought it was interesting that, on the play where Richards smacked Miller's glove with his stick and Miller retaliated with a poke of his own, he insinuated that Miller should have been given a penalty.
Freeezo Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Is it a given connolly doesn't come back for the 3rd?
DFITZ1 Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 First question of intermission is "So, Philadelphia should feel great about themselves, right?" Beg pardon? Feel great about being behind in an elimination game----right............... Seriously, Philly will come out flying. Both teams know they can score. Sabres have to play like trhey're down by a goa. Don't be dumb, don't be dirty. Don't sit back and let the play come to you. They gotta force the play and force Philly mistakes.

DFITZ1 Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Is it a given connolly doesn't come back for the 3rd? I hate saying it, but I think that's to our advantage. Hard hitting playoff hockey is not TC's style.

Millbury insinuated that?? Lol, what a Richard!
Overeducated Homer Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Gerbe is so tiny but fierce. With tiny, razor-sharp teeth.
Lanny Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Millbury insinuated that?? Lol, what a Richard! Perhaps it was olcyk
Overeducated Homer Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Perhaps it was olcyk it was olcyk, the color man, but Darren Pang corrected him quickly, defending the rights of a fellow goalie.
