Wayne VanDorp Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Ill take it but no way that's a major
samothyev Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Richards(I got it right this time)is giving us a golden egg!
johnnychemo Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 It's a major because it was an intentional elbow to the head, and today is an even day, so the NHL will enforce it.
LET"S GO BUFFALO Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 NHL will enforce they have been looking to make an example of a player that is not fitting the normal status as goon to sit they were talking about it on ESPN radio just today
stevecana Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 If we can't score on this 5 min PP , then we don't deserve to win the series.
Derrico Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 It's a major because it was an intentional elbow to the head, and today is an even day, so the NHL will enforce it. Haha. Watching the Comcast feed and they are losing it over that call! Excellent!
MichFan Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 It's a major because it was an intentional elbow to the head, and today is an even day, so the NHL will enforce it. Agreed, it was an intentional elbow, it was up before Kaleta got there. Major is a big call in a game like this, but what's fair is fair.
Stormin Norman Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Considering my feed on NHL.com is lagging a bit, I see a post like this and anticipate an actual goal... Oh, man! I have the same issue. Sorry about that. I will preface it next time with, "I want them to go...."
wjag Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 I'd have to see that play again.. All I know if that was a Sabre getting that call, I'd be a bit upset..
HopsGuy Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Yeah, but she WAS.... ...and his father smelt of elderberries.... See that? Now that's an assist!
Foligno's Nose Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 I'll drink to that! Drinking
DumbPuck Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 5 minutes of hot potato or a goal ? I wonder :-D
bunomatic Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 I can't imagine watching 5 minutes of this powerplay :wallbash: My guess is the refs will even it up at some point so they won't suffer the wrath of Ed Snider.
nobody Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 It's a major because it was an intentional elbow to the head, and today is an even day, so the NHL will enforce it. Now now - the NHL is much more advanced then that. What do you think they do with that draft lottery machine for the rest of the year? They put all the penalties in it and whichever 5 come out first get called for that day.
SwampD Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Huuuuuuuuuuuuuge. Their best PKer out for five minutes. We need to be up at least 3 to 0 by the end of it.
LGR4GM Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 That's a crazy call. 5 minutes! Ill take it but no way that's a major Read the rulebook, intentional hits to the head our a 5minute major and he thew his elbow out there you could see it on the replay, that was actually the correct call and I am surprised they gave him 5 not 2 but if kaleta did that to richards it would be 5 as well so correct call glad it helps us.
Foligno's Nose Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Haha. Watching the Comcast feed and they are losing it over that call! Excellent! Funny how they are trying to explain the 'self-defense' angle
darksabre Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 If we can't score on this 5 min PP , then we don't deserve to win the series. Amen. Have to come out of the intermission and blow it up. At least one goal, but I'd prefer two. Gerbe should be on the ice for the whole 3rd.
Punch Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Oh, man! I have the same issue. Sorry about that. I will preface it next time with, "I want them to go...." lol, no worries... it adds to the excitement!
Derrico Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 One question and one thought on this upcomming PP. Question - Anyone else really feel like we're not going to score but hopefully we'll have an easier time killing off the first five minutes of the period though? Thought - If the refs see the replay and think it wasn't as vicious as they originally thought we may see a ticky tack call against us during the PP.
