stepped IN zhitnik Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 i'll take mancari over kaleta at this point. He has a goal but Nieds could have scored had he been sitting that close to the net. He's a less disciplined, less talented danny carcillo
PlayoffReadyMatt Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 Our record with kaleta in and with him out is likely very different. We do better with Ellis/Mancari who do smart work along the boards.

spndnchz Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 He's wearing a full mask at practice. maybe a broken nose?
mrjsbu96 Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 I disagree - I think Kaleta has brought a lot of energy this series. He took a dumb penalty last night, but it also led to an eventual PP IMO, when he was hurt on that play that was called interference; which was a nasty pick two feet away from the boards. The penalty call cannot really be much else, but a dirty play to hit an unsuspecting player that distance from the boards.
Weave Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 He's wearing a full mask at practice. maybe a broken nose? After that hit into the boards it wouldn't suprise me if he broke his jaw. Anyone else see Hartnell jawing at Kaleta as he was bent over and gliding towards the bench? There was a big part of me that wanted someone to pay back Hartnell for whatever it was he was jawing. How can I dislike a player so much yet wish he was on my team?

shrader Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 We most likely would've won that game yesterday except for Kaleta's penalty. Mancari>kaleta This is an absolutely absurd comment. It was essentially 1-1 when he left the game. The things that happened that lost the team the game happened well after he was already gone.
Oakstream Posted April 19, 2011 Author Report Posted April 19, 2011 Kaleta says he expects to play game 4. That's good news, I think we need him.
Miss_The_Amerks Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 I wouldn't be surprised if it was a cheek bone, or tooth thing with the cage...
spndnchz Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 I wouldn't be surprised if it was a cheek bone, or tooth thing with the cage... He did give a completely understandable interview with Paul today. Sounded fine.
tom webster Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 We most likely would've won that game yesterday except for Kaleta's penalty. Mancari>kaleta So he gets the blame for the power play goal against but no credit for drawing the penalty that Stafford converted?
MattPie Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 So he gets the blame for the power play goal against but no credit for drawing the penalty that Stafford converted? Stop with your damned logic, sir.
Miss_The_Amerks Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 He did give a completely understandable interview with Paul today. Sounded fine. I am dumbfounded then. If it was a nose or a cheek, you'd see swelling an bruising (unless is was a radio/ phone interview?), a tooth you would hear, a jaw or concussion would keep him off the ice. So I cant explain the cage, unless it's a confidence thing? But I doubt that.

Buzz Killington Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Mind games Kaleta is in fact......Hannibal Lector.
X. Benedict Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Kaleta is in fact......Hannibal Lector. .....nothing like Hartnell's liver with a side of fava beans.
