Iron Crotch Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Montador looks like crap... and I sort of don't like the change in chemistry with Grier and Kaleta being back in the lineup.
biodork Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Wow what a job by Goose without a stick... awesome.
Bangarang Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Wow what a job by Goose without a stick... awesome. That was pretty great.
MichFan Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Wow Monty, 4 turnovers in the d zone, an icing and a penalty in one shift. Has to be someone in Portland who will play better than this.
wjag Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Good period... A little sketchy at the end, but no damage done.. Hits outnumbered shots by a lot.
K-9 Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Montador looks like crap... and I sort of don't like the change in chemistry with Grier and Kaleta being back in the lineup. I agree. Put Kaleta on the Special Nieds line and get Mancari back with Gerbe and Goose. GO SABRES!!!
biodork Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 I agree. Put Kaleta on the Special Nieds line and get Mancari back with Gerbe and Goose. GO SABRES!!! good one.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Wow what a job by Goose without a stick... awesome. All heart.........
ofiba Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Can someone explain to me why guys who break sticks don't immediately skate to the bench for a change or a new stick? Gaustad played about as well as you can play without a stick, but most of the time they are useless out there.

87168 Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 We are getting beaten to too many pucks... gotta stop chasing and start dictating the play. I agree...
inkman Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 You can't do that while killing a penalty, and he had a huge shot block. Idk, the end of the bench was in their zone, seems like right after he broke it, he may have had time.
inkman Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 He needs to stop trying to make the long pass. He is solid in the D-zone, but for the last month or so he keeps icing it or turning it over in the neutral zone. He's been bad for a while, maybe he sits when shakira is back.
kishoph Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 The BOYES line has 5 shots, they're going to make something happen in the 2nd. The blueliners look a little tentative.
sabres1970 Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Keep pressure on Bobrovski and off of Miller and we'll be fine.
OverPowerYou Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Hey guys, good news. We're not losing, so that's at least 47 more periods until we win the cup! (assuming we win every series 4-0)
stevecana Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Montador looks like crap... and I sort of don't like the change in chemistry with Grier and Kaleta being back in the lineup. Agreed. Grier looks slow and old. But our top line looks sharp.
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 He's been bad for a while, maybe he sits when shakira is back. I respectfully disagree. Sit Morrison. He just has to stop making that long cross ice pass.
X. Benedict Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Good to get out that period. Monty better wake up. Other than that.....good to get that first period out of their system. Just settle in...
bunomatic Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Watching the tsn feed and the flyers broadcasters you'd think there was only 1 team on the ice.
darksabre Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 If Kaleta can keep generating turnovers he can stay.
Iron Crotch Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Watching the tsn feed and the flyers broadcasters you'd think there was only 1 team on the ice. I was thinking the same thing. It's basically, "Flyers are great, Flyers are great, Flyers are great... wash, rinse, and repeat..." BTW - I can't post again until we score... I'm saving post #1000 for our first playoff goal!
