Ringo Ruff Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Hey- I love these playoff songs and wanted to share with the die-hards! These guys have been doing Bills and Sabres songs for a few years now and are always fist pumping and silly. Enjoy.
thesportsbuff Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Lyrics are a little cheesy but what can you expect when writing a song about hockey... great jam though, much better than the "BLUE AND YELLOW" and any other Sabre songs I've heard.
thesportsbuff Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 The bit about Martin was a nice touch.
Derrico Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Oh I'm gettin PUMPED! It's playoff time baby LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!!
LGR4GM Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 nice, very nice actually. I may just hummm it the rest of the day, god I am pumped!
darksabre Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Cheesy but good. It's exactly what a fan song should be.
TM8-PL16 Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 WOW! that was great! I will be listening to that often! thanks for posting it  :clapping:
Stoner Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 This one's a lot of fun too. And I thought Burl Ives was dead! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UrBBAWQdlY&feature=related
cdexchange Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Hated it at first but by the end I loved it, lol. As everyone else said, the chorus is very catchy.
R_Dudley Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Liked the uptempo beat and sound but the lyrics were a bit contrived and too wordy.

And I thought Burl Ives was dead! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UrBBAWQdlY&feature=related Should've guessed your a Buff(et) fan. Good for the easy listening version/generation which I'm still personally refusing to embrace.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 love it and pumped
Kristian Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Hard not to feel pumped about playoff hockey.
wjag Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Nice job.. Don't let all those tin ears get you down.
TM8-PL16 Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 I just bought the song from iTunes... gets me pumped everytime I listen to it.
nobody Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 That was pretty decent. Nice video to go along with the song as well.
DumbPuck Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 I thought it was pretty cheesy at first but now I find myself coming to this thread and playing it about three times throughout each day :-P. This is gonna sound kinda fruity but I actually started to tear up a bit with the Rico reference.... not much though I swear .... and I kicked a kitten afterwards of course. /machoFLEX
Stormin Norman Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Am I fired up? You tell me. I'm living in Taxachusetts. On the night of the last game vs. Philly, my wife is flying back to Boston after visiting friends...and my 45 minute ride to pick her up is happening right in the midst of the game. What a quandary: I have to pick her up at Logan airport but I want like hell to watch the game. What to do? Well, I took out my handy dandy Motorola Xoom. Switched it to the 3G network. Hooked into a stream of the game on the web. Slapped the Xoom into the dashboard of my vehicle and could see the game right through the steering wheel. Stupid? Yes. Ill advised? Certainly. But I can't be missing games at this point. You know what I mean? The most dangerous thing about it was leaving it on after my wife got in the car! GO SABRES!!!
Miss_The_Amerks Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 So pumped for the playoffs to start. Would rather have re-matched the Bruins as the underdog, but I'm glad we got Philly rather than the Caps.

NHL Game Center Live + Location Spoofer ... never miss a game.
