biodork Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 This will be our first 4 game win streak of the season  Wow, it doesn't even seem right that this is true with how well they've played the last several weeks, but so be it... take the momentum, heal up, and be ready to kick some Flyer/Bruin a$$ next week.
Iron Crotch Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 During the off season Enroth needs some coaching on his five hole That just sounds dirty...
87168 Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 That just sounds dirty... hahahahaha I guess it kind of does.
biodork Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Flyers get some insurance (6-4), Montreal too (4-1).
Corp000085 Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Carolina eliminated. I love how the fans and ice girls give a standing-o for blowing their playoff chances.
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Perfect night: Sabres win to enter the playoffs on a winning streak, Philly wins, so we get to play them instead of the Pens, Montreal wins so we don't have to play the Bruins, and the Canes lose. Can't get any better than that.
biodork Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Carolina eliminated. I love how the fans and ice girls give a standing-o for blowing their playoff chances. Didn't watch any of the game, but based on the score seems like they laid a huge egg after two impressive wins to stay in it. Warms my heart. :pirate:
Onceagain Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 So since we are in 7, does that mean we get philly assuming they hold on and win??? (even if pitt wins tomorrow i think philly still has the tiebreaker with more regualation+OT wins)
biodork Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 So since we are in 7, does that mean we get philly assuming they hold on and win??? (even if pitt wins tomorrow i think philly still has the tiebreaker with more regualation+OT wins) Think we could still get Boston if they beat the Devils tomorrow. Edit: Oops, the points on NHL.com don't include the Philly win tonight -- nevermind!

Orange Seats Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Huh. "Rivet" is on the trending list for twitter in the United States. Strange. NHL things usually never make a national trend.
BeachedNLA Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 When all was said & done, only 4 points less than last season (& this time we go into playoffs on a hot streak!). Bring on the Flyers!! Light up whomever they put in goal! GO SABRES!!
Figster Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Great way to end the regular season on a high note. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Warms my heart. :pirate: Remember when looking at preview of last weekend's Sabres / Carolina game, that Canes have a horrible record in second game of back-to-back games. Held true again.
lalalalalaFontaine Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 was tin man timmy seriously 0-15 on faceoffs? or was that a misprint? my over/under on how many games he costs us in the playoffs with turnovers = 3
Stoner Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Wow, don't know how Mason stopped that one -- what a cannon by Myers. Speaking of cannons, is there a gimmickier arena in the NHL. Holy cow.
Stoner Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Boyes and Gaustad!!! Speaking of Boyes, Mancari is still having trouble with his!
EZBills7 Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 When all was said & done, only 4 points less than last season (& this time we go into playoffs on a hot streak!). Bring on the Flyers!! Light up whomever they put in goal! GO SABRES!! It will be Philly unless they or the Habs cough up their late leads here. Lots of goals and scoring chances in that series. The Sabres have to come up with a way to deal with the Flyers forecheck and I like their chances.
Stoner Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Clitsome. Enough said. Speaking of that, I call BS on Rick -- he has to be making up these names. Mergelgergel over to Clitsome, Pistolia rips it in. Beeeeeee SSSSSSSSSS.
Pville29 Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 lol 0-15 i don't think timmy will be missed after this season
johnyvegas Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Speaking of cannons, is there a gimmickier arena in the NHL. Holy cow. No kidding. Did you hear the PA announcer, down two goals with less than 2 minutes left announce the "Blue Jacket POOOOOWWWER PLAAAAAAAY!!!" Boing. And for the record I'm not crazy about our PA guy either. ThOOOOOOmas VAAAAnek!! Makes my skin crawl. I want Milt back.
biodork Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Speaking of cannons, is there a gimmickier arena in the NHL. Holy cow. Haha - yeah, I thought that was pretty weird, too.

Beeeeeee SSSSSSSSSS. Sounds like Rick is now getting into playing World of Warcraft and hanging out with the Murlocs.
