darksabre Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Man, I feel sluggish after that awards delay. Apparently so are the Sabres. Let's get those legs moving.
Tom Backyard Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 So he dresses Morrisonn tonight? Yikes. Sekera is hurtin?
BeachedNLA Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 damn that ceremony etc was awesome until Ryan Miller won team MVP... i really can't fathom how he earned that honor. personally would have went with Stafford or the obvious Vanek. Team voted for him. His teammates saw that he was their MVP.
darksabre Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Vanek came oh so close to getting number one. Keep it goin!
thesportsbuff Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Team voted for him. His teammates saw that he was their MVP. i just don't see how. i guess it's the cliche thing to do -- no matter how bad of a year a goalie has, his team mates are always going to call him MVP. Must be nobody could decided which 30G scorer to give it to, so they defaulted to the old "our goalie is our most important player."
darksabre Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Hey defense, pay attention. You can't just leave Hartnell alone in front or else THAT happens. :wallbash:
ThePebble19 Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 What was myers doing? He dove across the ice to block one guy, and left another completely wide open...
kishoph Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Maybe we can get someone from the alumni to play defense.
LGR4GM Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 i just don't see how. i guess it's the cliche thing to do -- no matter how bad of a year a goalie has, his team mates are always going to call him MVP. Must be nobody could decided which 30G scorer to give it to, so they defaulted to the old "our goalie is our most important player." You just really do not want to say that this team respects miller do you? They voted him MVP because they think he is their most valuable teammate and helps them the most. That equals respect.
LGR4GM Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 o good carolina is winning 2-0 now.... FIght boys and LETS GO BUFFALO!
darksabre Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 This period has gone from bad to good to bad again. Philly's forecheck is pressing hard tonight.
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 This period has gone from bad to good to bad again. Philly's forecheck is pressing hard tonight. Yeah, going to have to figure out someway to combat that or its going to be a long night in our own end. Come on boys, attack and get us that point so we can all relax tomorrow.
darksabre Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Bad period. Looks like I'm talking to myself in here. Oh, nvm I'm not alone haha
ThePebble19 Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Bad period. Looks like I'm talking to myself in here. Oh, nvm I'm not alone haha Nah, I'm here too... I was hoping this game would be on the CSN Philly station so I could watch it, but it appears they decided the Sixers game was more important. So, now im stuck in front of the computer tonight.
Freeezo Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 anybody know if columbus has anything to play for tomorrow?
Stoner Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Yikes, they're tighter than a proverbial drum. Lucky to be 1-0. As Ghost has said, the learning curve will be big for this ownership group. Hope they take circus atmosphere for the finale off their checklist.
SabreInFla Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 anybody know if columbus has anything to play for tomorrow? To try and keep Buffalo out of the playoffs.
rickshaw Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Just got in and see us down and Carolina up. Yikes. I do not want this to go down to game 82. That stupid Nashville game!!!!!!!!!
ROC Sabres Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 anybody know if columbus has anything to play for tomorrow? I'm sure someone on the team does but the rest of them are playing for a paycheck tomorrow.
stevecana Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Yikes, they're tighter than a proverbial drum. Lucky to be 1-0. As Ghost has said, the learning curve will be big for this ownership group. Hope they take circus atmosphere for the finale off their checklist. I agree. I think the BS award ceremony might have affected the mindset of the team. They look way too tight out there.. Hope Lindy jumps down their throats...ONE FRIGGIN' POINT!!
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Sounds like philly controlled period. Just get one early in second canes wont lose tonight
kishoph Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Is ENNIS hurt or is he in LINDY's doghouse again ? He had the least time and the fewest shifts of the period. I know I whine a lot about ENNIS getting not enough time, but it seems to me that one of you better forwards should be getting more ice time than the muckers on this team.
ROC Sabres Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Sounds like philly controlled period. Just get one early in second canes wont lose tonight Canes won't lose tomorrow either. Playing at home, against a division rival, with playoffs on the line. I'm sure they will be calling the game the same as when the sabres played them on sunday.
bunomatic Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Anyone remember when Carolina started this improbable run? The night they beat Buffalo 1-0. Hopefully its not a stain on our hockey ju ju or some sort of run of destiny for those f%#$"s.
gpsabre Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 We better get healthy FAST!! This line up has too many Pirates(ellis) and Scratches (morrison) playing.UUHGGGG!!
