thesportsbuff Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 IDK if you guys have noticed but Enroth has been giving up rebounds like that all season (w/ the Sabres). In fact his best saves vs the Rangers were only "great saves" because he kicks rebounds out 5-6 feet and re-positions himself quickly enough to get in front of the next shot. IDK if that's a strategy or just good luck and quick reflexes, but aside from these two early goals, it's worked pretty well.
wjag Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 As crazy as it seems, the 2nd period has been the best period for the Sabres lately. After that start, my heart rate is back down to normal..
Freeezo Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 Drew also get's #30 by the end of this game
Tyrannustyrannus Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 1-1 in Long Island and the Bandits are up 3-1 early
Iron Crotch Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 For once, my dogs decided they want to go outside BETWEEN periods!
Stoner Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 It's like two guys won an essay contest on "Why I Want to Play an NHL Game in Goal." Sabres have to watch their long changes this period and the bomb pass for Ovi. A couple nice saves on Ovi, anyway.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 We looked good towards the end of the period...keep up the pace boys. We can win this
Richard Smehliks Ghost Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Weber has looked lost this past week.
wjag Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 ISLANDERS 2 - CAROLINA 1 :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:
bunomatic Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Weber has looked lost this past week. I'm not sure about tonight because I don't have a feed and I'm just listening via radio but last game he was a machine hitting everything in sight. I like his game lately. I wish we had more guys on our defence who can punish people.

Wyldnwoody44 Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Wow they wont call anything tonight on either team
thesportsbuff Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Ellis have a goal for us yet this year? Nope. I'd still take him over neidermayer every day of the week. Come to think of it a Ellis/McCormick/Neidermayer(or Grier) line might be awesome in the playoffs.
ROC Sabres Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 I'll put money on it right now. Unless Enroth learns more rebound control, specifically with his legs, he's going to make one hell of a kick save and end up icing the puck.
Tyrannustyrannus Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Weber has looked lost this past week. not as lost as Butler
