ROC Sabres Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 nice goal by serkera Pommers with the primary assist.
ROC Sabres Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 OV thanking McCreary for keeping the game going by making up a call.
thesportsbuff Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 well playoffs start tomorrow 5pm be there or be... not there
MichFan Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Just great. F'in McCreary congratulating Ovie with a big smile. Really nice. Typical f'in NHL. Bettman will sleep well tonight.
ThePebble19 Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Dang it...what a frustrating loss...glad for the point, but a horrible way to lose... If I had buck for every goal that went off our d this year, I could buy a beer or two at the stadium.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Yeah we gave away a big point, with help from the zebras .......fuc**** mcreary, piece of sh***t
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 watching replay of that penalty was a BS call that late in game
thesportsbuff Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 ovi's GWG celebration was so typical of him. puts the spotlight on himself after spending the night cherry picking and throwing a couple late hits.
Cereal Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Sorry, superdave, I'm sure it's a lot different now and that you have a much stronger fanbase than you did in '05-'06, but if you can't sell out a playoff game, you are an undeserving fanbase. That's just a fact. The team deserved to win, but their fans didn't deserve them to. I feel the same way about New Jersey. Their fans don't deserve three Cups in their history. :censored: We're so bad at 4 on 4. Anyone know the stats for GF and GA for 4 on 4? There was once a time when we were considered a very fast team, and it was considered an advantage when we went on 4 on 4.
thesportsbuff Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Just great. F'in McCreary congratulating Ovie with a big smile. Really nice. Typical f'in NHL. Bettman will sleep well tonight. I'm guessing it was Ovie congratulating McCreary.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Must win in regulation tomorrow night but those big rebounds have to be controlled
Big Toe Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Is that normal for an official to shake a players hand after a game winner? I know he's retiring, but it looks bad!

wallybarthman Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 He's saying thank you for giving them the game
CallawaySabres Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Hey Mcreary, I hope you lose ALL your money in bad investments after your retirement.....
JohnRobertEichel Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Just great. F'in McCreary congratulating Ovie with a big smile. Really nice. Typical f'in NHL. Bettman will sleep well tonight. The NHL is one small step above WWE right now. Mother of ######. That may have very well been the season. If Carolina wins in regulation tomorrow, I think they jump over us due to head-to-head record since we would both be at 39-30-10.
sabresfan36 Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 both times the sabres got ahead in the third Mccrappy called questionable highsticking penalties
thesportsbuff Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Is that normal for an official to shake a players hand after a game winner? I know he's retiring, but it looks bad! When one of the most well-respected veteran officials of 1700+ games is honored before his last game ever, I think a handshake is appropriate..
MichFan Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 I'm guessing it was Ovie congratulating McCreary. I'm guessing you didn't watch this.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 I can't remember a game the Sabres won with McCreary as ref....
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Wow, crazy game. Glad they fought back and were very lucky on two of their goals to get a point. I really hope Miller gets back soon. No way you are going to win many games with your goalie giving up huge rebounds all night long. For all those crying about McCreary, did you see the replay? Goose clearly hit him in the face (unintentionally) with his stick.
