bagjr387 Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 I know its toni Lydman without looking! hindsight is 20/20, i will be the first to admit i thought the change to morrison/leopold would be better. too bad everyone wanted a change and we got what we wanted!
Strow Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 I always wanted Toni glad we got ride of Hank.
bagjr387 Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 I always wanted Toni glad we got ride of Hank. i thought Hank sucked too. but he was Myers' partner last year and i believe thats why Myers had struggled the first half of the season.
Mox Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 Toni had back to back penalties at the beginning of the 3rd period against the Flames that really put them in a bind. I had flashbacks. Still happy for him that he's find a nice niche in Anaheim and I hope he wins the plus/minus award.
inkman Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 What a difference a change of scenery makes ... http://espn.go.com/nhl/statistics Maybe you are getting a little senile but anyone who's opinion I respect knew what we had in loods. It was the fanbois who saw his one glaring mistake every other game and declared him to be a ###### defenseman.
Eleven Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 I always wanted him back but understood management's reluctance to give him one more year on the deal. Let's see if he loses a step during the last year of a contract. But he was always solid here. Made a number of saves when a goalie was out of the net, too.

It was the fanbois who saw his one glaring mistake every other game and declared him to be a ###### defenseman. I always loved Loods game. I always thought his mistakes were overconflated here. I haven't had a chance to see much Anahiem, but Randy Carlyle plays a simple system that is perfect for Lydman, because the only flubs he ever really made were his breakout passes.
