itbeatswalking Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Gerbe's energy level can be explained by the Stark Industries cold-fusion reactor tucked away in his chest.
spndnchz Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 He lives next door to the admin of my department. I pity him. Patches or the admin?
korab rules Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 He lives next door to the admin of my department. I pity him. Patches or the admin? Tell your admin not to pass out in a lawn chair in his back yard or he may wake up with Patches' hand in his pants.
korab rules Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 The admin is a woman... Oh. Well in that case she'll be fine! Although I somehow think it's unlikely SHE will pass out in a lawnchair in her back yard.
nobody Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Oh. Well in that case she'll be fine! Although I somehow think it's unlikely SHE will pass out in a lawnchair in her back yard. You must not be familiar with Spencerport women.
cdexchange Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Tell your admin not to pass out in a lawn chair in his back yard or he may wake up with Patches' hand in his pants. Patches is DD's uncle?
korab rules Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Patches is DD's uncle? Not unless Ink's admin is an 11 year old boy. You must not be familiar with Spencerport women. Apparently I need to spend more time in Spencerport.
X. Benedict Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Patches is DD's uncle? Isn't Patches the coach that throws wrenches?
wjag Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Isn't Patches the coach that throws wrenches? Outstanding! That was a great movie.
Fire Lindy Ruff NOW Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 You buying the coke? only if your buyin the crack
FogBat Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Outstanding! That was a great movie. Well, we certainly have a difference of opinion. To describe that movie as being crass, uncouth, and sophomoric would be an understatement.
wjag Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Well, we certainly have a difference of opinion. To describe that movie as being crass, uncouth, and sophomoric would be an understatement. It was probably the best crass, uncouth and sophomoric movie in a long time. So I take it you watched it?
wonderbread Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Well, we certainly have a difference of opinion. To describe that movie as being crass, uncouth, and sophomoric would be an understatement. Don't be so Hoity-Toity. It wasn't exactly billed like it was Frost/Nixon. Dodgeball
wjag Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Don't be so Hoity-Toity. It wasn't exactly billed like it was Frost/Nixon. Dodgeball OMG.. That was seven years ago. That just can't be...
IKnowPhysics Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 My opinion hasn't changed. Are we talking about the 23 year old 2008 NCAA Championship hero (5 goals/2 games in the college big show, named Most Outstanding Player) Hobey Baker Award finalist who had 5 points in 10 games with the Sabres last year that we got at a steal with the 142nd pick and just burns up our cap space at $850k/year? Let the kid develop. He's not the worst player on the team and he's nowhere near the worst value. He's got more potential than Mark Mancari and Cody McCormick combined. And I wasn't in any way shitting on Mancari or McCormick, I just watched enough NCAA to see that Gerbe was eventually going to go places, namely up. Use the Holzinger counter-argument if you want, but Holzinger still put up 51 points one year when he was making $475k (when Trefilov was making $675k). If anything, after he shook off the first half of his games, he's improved a little sooner than I expected, very likely due to his increased ice time. I attribute all of this to Ruff's mentality, that he shared in today's article concerning the Leafs: http://sports.nationalpost.com/2011/03/28/sabres-excited-for-chance-to-bury-leafs-playoff-hopes/ I think when young players get an important role they start to feel comfortable and they start to play better for the most part,” said Ruff. “It’s tough to step in and get six or seven minutes of ice time or be in for a couple of games and then out. I think they realize they’re getting a real good look and they’re playing well.

FogBat Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 It was probably the best crass, uncouth and sophomoric movie in a long time. So I take it you watched it? Noooooooooooooooo... I spent all that time watching the Test Pattern. Yes, I had the unpleasant experience of watching it. I was at the in-laws in metro DC (NoVA to be precise) and they offered it up. That's 92 minutes of my life I can't get back.
Assquatch Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 who said "Brian Holzinger is going to be a 50 goal scorer if he can get his touch on breakaways" PA you know this. Paul Hamilton. WGR never lets him forget it either.

henysgol Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 My new name for Gerbe. Tenacious G. Yes! He IS tenacious. You beat me to it.
FogBat Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 you just dont know what funny is, bro. That's your opinion. I do have a sense of humor, albeit somewhat different from everyone else. After all, The Far Side was my favorite comic strip.
