kishoph Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 You're not going to see any former Sabres who are currently playing. Or guys who are currently coaching elsewhere, or general managing. I sure it wouldn't go over well with their current teams.
PromoTheRobot Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Stub hub is a very interesting gauge to test how hot an event is. Cheapest seat is going for $150. PTR
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 I'm just walking up the carpet wearing an old Brad Miller jersey and a lanyard around my neck.

kishoph Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 cripe i forgot about Rick Vaive..the guy was an amazing player--burned out or was injured early-- kinda like Rico. VANEK reminds me of VAIVE. a heavy slapshot and the willingness to absorb punishment in front of the net.
pkwwjd Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 VANEK reminds me of VAIVE. a heavy slapshot and the willingness to absorb punishment in front of the net. get Vanek a neckroll
shrader Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 How come no Barnaby and Peca? I'm assuming TSN needs them for the coverage of the last second playoff pushes around the league. It would be cool if they could send in a video piece to be aired during the event.
spndnchz Posted April 7, 2011 Author Report Posted April 7, 2011 How come no Barnaby and Peca? Peca is coming.
X. Benedict Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 I'm just walking up the carpet wearing an old Brad Miller jersey and a lanyard around my neck. I was thinking the same thing with my McKegney sweater.
OverPowerYou Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Apparently there is supposed to be a party in the plaza. Anyone think it will be as big as playoff crowds?
spndnchz Posted April 7, 2011 Author Report Posted April 7, 2011 d4rksabre! Yuri Khmylev is coming!!!! LOL
nfreeman Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 VANEK reminds me of VAIVE. a heavy slapshot and the willingness to absorb punishment in front of the net. I agree, although I still find the capital letters annoying.
Cereal Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Any idea if Center Ice might possibly show the pregame so us out-of-towners can watch the ceremony? Looks like everything starts at 7:15, but the game "starts" at 7:30.

Looks like everything starts at 7:15, but the game "starts" at 7:30. Center Ice has been showing the pregame show. It's not listed on the guide, but tune to the channel 30 minutes before the game listing, and chances are they'll be showing it.
Two or less Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 How come no Barnaby and Peca? Barnaby said via twitter he is saddened he couldnt make it but has to work at TSN. I also heard Derek Plante is coaching Minnesota Duluth hockey to the national championship game, so he can't make it. But i heard Andrew Peters is coming....
Two or less Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Wonder if Briere will walk the carpet? lol jk
FogBat Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Wonder if Briere will walk the carpet gauntlet? Fixed

Ted Black said during the chat room that there will be a 1 hour pre-game show tomorrow... obviously those with MSG.
nobody Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 I sent in a suggestion that they simulcast the entire event. I guess this is their attempt at that. I never got a thank you from Ted I guess since they aren't doing what I suggested.

I have had Center Ice through DirectTV here in Ohio for years and I've never had a pregame show. At best, the feed starts maybe a couple of minutes early, but never a full half hour or hour. What is more likely is the post-game. Sometimes they click the feed off immediately, sometimes they leave it on. No rhyme or reason to it...it just happens, or it doesn't. What I want to know is: Where do you live? Why do you get the pre-game show and most of us don't?

I doubt we'll get tonight's Sabres pregame though.
