spndnchz Posted March 18, 2011 Author Report Posted March 18, 2011 Another from Richard Sabin: They're replacing Doug Allen with Rebecca Black.

spndnchz Posted March 18, 2011 Author Report Posted March 18, 2011 Rick Jeanerett to retire after season? Heard it was that they're sending Neale to Russia.
Taro T Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Rick Jeanerett to retire after season? Remember, this is supposed to be 'holy :censored: good.' You don't reach that level unless you also announce that Gurtler is back. :P
spndnchz Posted March 18, 2011 Author Report Posted March 18, 2011 Throughout the game, season ticket holders will be selected though random drawings to win a jersey off the back of a Sabres player. The winning fans will then be brought down to the ice post-game, and will receive their game-worn jersey directly from their selected player.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Ooooo, here's a good one form Chris: Pegula bought out all remaining tickets to the game ar RBC Center on 4/3, will pay airfare for season ticket holders? Love it we will show them true raping and pilaging and TP can throw the beer party before hand
Lanny Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 April 8th fan appreciation night, all alumni invited, red carpet event, outdoor party with band, autographs and pictures.
spndnchz Posted March 18, 2011 Author Report Posted March 18, 2011 All alumni invited to come to the arena, dropped off in a car from their playing era at the red carpet and they'll hang out in the plaza party.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 like the all alumni to last game big time party
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 damn i really wanted that all tickets in RBC thingie lots still available load the busses!!!!
nobody Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 April 8th fan appreciation night, all alumni invited, red carpet event, outdoor party with band, autographs and pictures. That's nice for people that will be at the game. Now if they added to the press release that the entire event will be simulcast on MSG - that might get some more people excited.
FogBat Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 In quoting Ronald Reagan (with certain liberties, of course ;) ), "Buffalo will be a Shining City on a Hill once again."
shrader Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 I'm making it my mission to find out by the end of the day whether or not Bob Corkum will show up.
UncleWally Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 No pants required for all fans during the 2011-12 season??
spndnchz Posted March 18, 2011 Author Report Posted March 18, 2011 So we need to match up previous Sabres, now retired to their respective cars. Let's go with the first year they played their first game as a Sabre. Gilbert Perreault : 1970 1/2 Chevy Camaro Z28

Gil saying in his best accent...Ford Galaxy 500!!
shrader Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 I want one single clown car that brings all alumni to the event.
Stoner Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 I love this one: "All attending alumni will be honored in a pre-game on-ice ceremony that will also include presentation of the 2010-11 Sabres MVP, Rookie of the Year and Hardest Working Player awards. In addition, an online vote will provide Sabres fans with the opportunity to make their choice for “The 7th Man” – the team’s Fan of the Year Award. Details of the online voting process will be announced shortly." I had been planning to make the suggestion of bringing back the Unsung Hero, Star of Stars etc. Awards. Rookie of the Year seems a bit narrow. Why not "Best Newcomer"? Hey it's a start. These guys are good.
kishoph Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 http://bit.ly/eKklX3 via Buffalo Sabres Twitter It says that T-PEGS is going to speak at a Power Play lunch, good maybe he can get the damn thing to work. PEGULA is turning out to be a great owner, he shows that he really cares about the fans the team and alumni.
Stoner Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 "Holy crap" tweet deleted? Part of the tease? I hope this won't turn into a Michael Scott "surprise" moment.

PEGULA is turning out to be a great owner, he shows that he really cares about the fans the team and alumni. I can't remember if we've had such a proactive owner like this - if ever. Now, here's a suggestion. Have Mr. Pegula drive up in a car like the one he had when he started his business.

Stoner Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 I know he's not an alumnus, but Harry is being pushed to the arena on a square wheel.
