darksabre Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 He hit the boards sideways, how is that boarding?
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 First time I have seen diving called in ages.
thesportsbuff Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 First time I have seen diving called in ages. True that. I said it last post-season when they called one against us in the Boston series. Like wtf -- they go almost 2 years without seeing the call and then in the playoffs they call it against us? And now tonight is the first time since then I've seen it...
kishoph Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Some of these calls are questionable to say the least.
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 He hit the boards sideways, how is that boarding? Somehow they called it charging?
thesportsbuff Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Somehow they called it charging? I would have to see another replay to see if it warranted a charging call or not... looks like they gave Karlsson a dive AND a unsportsmanlike.. he must have said something to the refs after the play or something.

It seems to me like right after the lockout it was called all the time. I remember Roy got a reputation for it. But it has almost disappeared the last couple of seasons.
darksabre Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Somehow they called it charging? Charging makes even less sense, considering it wasn't even a bodycheck.

Ahhh, I was wondering along with RJ and Razor why the faceoff was at the other end.

But it has almost disappeared the last couple of seasons. Yeah, the diving calls were running rampant the first couple years... then they disappeared (at least to my knowledge) until that call in the Boston series. I remember being a cry baby and making a big deal out of it on here  How can you not call it for who knows how many season and then pull it out of your ass in a playoff game!?
Stoner Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Why does that get called interference but Kuba can stand Gerbe up without the puck and it's okay? You want them to screw up both calls? It's not an exact science.
Stoner Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Vanek is such a confident shooter. Look at his demeanor as he approached the net. :clapping: Yup, you knew it was going in. Plus, Perry Como is in goal.
Stoner Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 He hit the boards sideways, how is that boarding? :D

Kind of like the foot in the crease call? But the other way. No consistency.
wjag Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Leopold's shots on goal tonight have been way wide....
Iron Crotch Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Ennis! Weeeeeeee!!! Spilled Anderson's water all over him!
