Get a clue (negative) Sabres fans

This doesn’t go out too all Sabres fans, just the negative ones. Are you kidding me? Why are you people still so negative? Do you even have a clue who bought the Sabres? I have been a Buffalo Sports fan for over 40 years and I am not even sure how to take those few people that just can’t see what’s in front of them. Have fun living in your negative worlds that you have created yourselves. You look at the rain and the dark clouds and I will look at the bright sunny days ahead along with the other Sabres fans that haven’t had their senses dulled by so many losing seasons. To judge Terry Pegula or ANYTHING to do with the Sabres right now shows me you are truly clueless of THE BIG PICTURE.

I am glad I can see your depressing views but not allow them to become my views as well. I see great things for the Sabres in the NEAR future but haven’t failed to understand it is going to take more than a month to do it.

Life is GOOD, The Sabres have an owner who actually is a FAN of the team and the city and has a DESIRE to win…… enjoy the ride instead of looking and comparing past teams, players, decisions and what have you.

REALLY?

You people are that clueless that you can’t see that a new regime has taken over and for ONCE it is someone who has made it clear he wants to WIN….. and has the ability and tools to do it.

I already know I won’t get my message across to you “negatives” so let this be an open attack on your inability to access the future based on the NOW and NOT the PAST.

You people must have taken the Sabres losing so much to heart that it has become YOU more than about the Sabres….

Don’t worry…. You’ll all wake up AFTER the winning takes place, jump on the bandwagon and be able to see in hindsight what the people with hope and vision could see from DAY ONE once Terry took the reins.

Now miss the message and attack me… while I go on and enjoy the ride with all the winners.

GO SABRES.

It should be interesting to see who takes this personal. The truth hurts.

You are wasting your time here. Sabrespace is a clique dominated by a few dozen like-minded downers who attack anyone who isn't following their program. They carry themselves as if they are maintaining some kind of high standard but really its just an excuse for them to justify their endless pissing and moaning. Sadly there aren't many good alternatives for Sabres chat, so I learned who to ignore and step around their rants like so many dog piles.

I really don't think there are too many of the "always negative no matter what" crowd. Those few people just seem to post quite frequently. Like you said, it's fine when you learn what and when to block certain things out. It's getting a bit tougher as of late on here, but I wouldn't say it's the negativity that I'm avoiding on here. It's the complete wackjob insanity that's the new flaw.

Thank YOU so MUCH, VisuaLIZING, for your insight AND wisdom.

WE are all BETTER for it.

There's been a real issue around here lately with misuse of capital letters. Much worse than the Sabres' power play.

So you and PTR are the poster boys for positivity?

That's funny.

Speaking of attack....

Where was this guy in November again?

Where was this guy in November again?

I just leave it to rational posters to come to their own conclusions. In reality, many more yahoos come out during good times on the ice. This place was like the football board during 2007. Even last year most fans knew in their heart the team didn't have it in them.

This board has been around for how many years now? Seems like I remember an earlier form of it in existence back during the 98-99 Cup run but maybe it wasn't put online until a year or two after that? Anyway, having been a long time reader/infrequent poster, I can see where the person who started this thread is coming from (through all the verbiage) but hopefully he/she can enjoy the discussion and ignore the posters that seem to have a negative bent and are ruining the board for him/her. Personally I think it's like most things in life - those who are dissatisfied tend to be the most vocal. As someone said, there aren't any better alternatives that I'm aware of and in the end it's still fun to talk hockey regardless of the divergence of opinions. What makes me laugh is imagining what some of you are like in your daily lives - do you roll down the car window & scream "A-HOLE" or some such thing every time something annoys you?

Your blinker is on.

I thought this board was a little more nichey (it's a word now) then than it is now. It seems like a lot more names have popped up this year than at any other point. The new ownership playing an obvious role there.

They don't use blinkers down here in Tennessee. That's why I have to drive around with my window open yelling "A-Hole!" at all the other drivers.

Warm and fuzzy, warm and fuzzy, warm and fuzzy, warm and fuzzy, warm and fuzzy, warm and fuzzy, warm and fuzzy, warm and fuzzy. Hey! It works!

You've been watching too much Joel Osteen <_<

 Wake up,

Grab a brush and put on a little makeup,

Hide the scars to fade away the shakeup,

Why'd you leave the keys upon the table,

Here you go create another fable,

-yes it is System of a Down, see the irony?

Sorry for the difference of opinion, but anything by System of a Down makes me

Pot please meet kettle. Isn't your criticism by it's nature negative and hypocritical. If you had just written about your own outlook that would have been positive.

So really what flavor is that koolaide??? Crack?

 Man, that was harsh but true on all counts.

I love it! Thank you "Visualizing The Cup" for an awesome statement. We all have PLENTY of reasons now to be feeling positive about the Sabres, and yes Mr. Pegula is the NUCLEUS of this positive energy! It is seeping its way into every capillary of Sabreland. The zit of hard times/ hard measures has finally come to a head and POPPED! I am thoroughly enjoying this.

I don't find the board overly negative. I find a diverse set of opinions out there. There is plenty of positive vibe on here. Maybe the negative vibe overwhelms the positive vibe for you.

People react differently to the same inputs. All I can say is, enjoy the ride. I am.

I recognize the gentleman from the Rochester area for five minutes -- OK, make that 12 seconds.
