Tyrannustyrannus Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 We think alike, sir. as soon as I saw him cut across I knew it was in. the celebration was almost as big too!
TheMatrix31 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 ###### sick of these internet streams. Missed the game-winner. Wish I lived in Buffalo. Whatever, 2 points, and we're now the 8th seed!
dudacek Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 What an effort! Anybody still think this year's Stafford is not for real?
X. Benedict Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyth place!!

Iron Crotch Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Montador is playing out of his mind. He was +3 tonight with 2 assists. Up to +20 on the year.
X. Benedict Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Montador is playing out of his mind. He was +3 tonight with 2 assists. Up to +20 on the year. Him and Sekera are skating out of their minds.
njh2604 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 We earnt that win tonight totally outplayed them except for the 2nd. A great win and 8th spot. Now lets push higher boys!!!!!
Figster Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Yes!!! sole possession of 8th!!!!! :clapping:
Iron Crotch Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Him and Sekera are skating out of their minds. Yeah, Sekera has something like 9 points in his last 5 games. Those guys are really playing well lately.
Stoner Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 boy's are tired. I'll take a point with bonus please I never got the feeling they were tired.
X. Benedict Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 I never got the feeling they were tired. For back to back games that is the best they've skated all year.
Tyrannustyrannus Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Sabres win 2 gutsy games and claw their way into 8th, and the Bandits win back to back games too! Great weekend for Buffalo!
thesportsbuff Posted March 7, 2011 Author Report Posted March 7, 2011 Memories of Pominville in Ottawa! Pominville-esque!!!! (minus the shorthanded part!) that looked just like Pominville ending the Senator's season in 2006. awesome. Shades of Jason Pominville circa 2006 on that one....OH NOW DO YOU BELIEVE? Agreed... eerily similar, but doesn't this tell us that Buffalo forwards don't try that play enough? I mean, Stafford drives the net one on one and scores, and Sabres fans are taken back FIVE YEARS to the last time it happened. Jeesh. Grow a pair and drive the net like that more often. Stafford is big enough too. So is goose.
Stoner Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Shades of Jason Pominville circa 2006 on that one....OH NOW DO YOU BELIEVE? That was going to be my line! With a twist: Hey PA, oh now do you believe?
Freeezo Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 I never got the feeling they were tired. MAYBE UR RIGHT. THOUGHT AT END OF 2ND AND PARTS OF 3RD. CONGRATS ON 2 HARD EARNED POINTS
LET"S GO BUFFALO Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 One of the best lines of the season! hahah I try to put in necessary conversation to this discussion
Stoner Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Where was Ennis in the third?? Hurt late into the boards in the Minny zone. Shoulder or arm, apparently.
Freeezo Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Where was Ennis in the third?? he did take that big hit in the middle of 3rd behind their goal..
Knightrider Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 For back to back games that is the best they've skated all in years. Fixed. Nice, nice effort, tonight.
Iron Crotch Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 I was noticing how skilled we are up front with the Boyes pickup and with Marcari and Gerbe in there. Almost everyone out there minus Nieds, Kaleta, McCormick and Goose can be considered skill guys. I though we looked really dangerous offensively, especially with our d-men pitching in some offense.
