kishoph Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 I'd think that WEBER would be better to have in this game because of his physicality, but he has been taking some foolish penalties lately.
Freeezo Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 ENROTH is up, but no word if he'll get the nod. This might be the better game to play him because, MILLER's routine is to take a lot of the day getting psyched up for the game (from what I've heard), so maybe he wouldn't be as prepared as a later game, plus he did look a little shaky the other night. Anybody think that our euro sensation, puck stopping hero might be up for longer-term, considering only 4 recalls from portland are allowed?
thesportsbuff Posted March 5, 2011 Author Report Posted March 5, 2011 Anybody think that our euro sensation, puck stopping hero might be up for longer-term, considering only 4 recalls from portland are allowed? How many have we used, 2 or 3? If there's still another one to use mid-late march I think we're fine.
kishoph Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 Anybody think that our euro sensation, puck stopping hero might be up for longer-term, considering only 4 recalls from portland are allowed? I know he's suppose to play tomorrow but, why not even dress him for today's game ?
LGR4GM Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 Miller is playing today i thought, and with Hecht out whos centering that line?
LGR4GM Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 that looked like a great passing play we look in sync
87168 Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 Why is Myers getting booed? Yea I heard booing as well. I'm not sure who it was directed towards. Anyone have any ideas? I doubt it was Myers, but I could be wrong.
thesportsbuff Posted March 5, 2011 Author Report Posted March 5, 2011 Shoulda been a penalty shot but I'll take our chances (as slim as they are) on the shortened powerplay over trusting Grier on the penalty shot
87168 Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 Ok guys 5 on 3. Let's make a move. We have a whole 1:10
thesportsbuff Posted March 5, 2011 Author Report Posted March 5, 2011 AWW SHITTTTT the TWO man advantage!
thesportsbuff Posted March 5, 2011 Author Report Posted March 5, 2011 well at least they looked good for the 5-on-3 part of the PP.
kishoph Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 POMMER's and CONNOLLY did a fine job of killing that 5 on 3.
bob_sauve28 Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 Shoulda been a penalty shot but I'll take our chances (as slim as they are) on the shortened powerplay over trusting Grier on the penalty shot  Black Vanek would have scored!
North Buffalo Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 well at least they looked good for the 5-on-3 part of the PP. What good for working on their profile photos. Standing around they made the photographers jobs easy. Get Connolly off the powerplay. At least Roy when he held the puck moved. That was pathetic.
thesportsbuff Posted March 5, 2011 Author Report Posted March 5, 2011 POMMER's and CONNOLLY did a fine job of killing that 5 on 3. Connolly had a couple nice plays from the point there, I thought. Pommer was the one who kept refusing to take the one-timer. As soon as Connolly switched with him he started launching them. One got blocked but overall he set up the best two chances Buffalo's had all game. Three if you include the shorthanded breakaway pass to Grier
thesportsbuff Posted March 5, 2011 Author Report Posted March 5, 2011 At least Jeff Carter isn't playing. :o
North Buffalo Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 Finally, flyers scored putting the Sabres out of their misery. One bullet is all it takes these days..
