Hey that was good Greg. I've got to give credit where its due. You got a lot of laughs. Its awfully hard to put yourself out there like that and I think you did a good job. Keep it up and good luck.

:clapping: :clapping: :clapping:    that was awesome! i was laughing my ass off the whole time haha. props

LOL i won't lie, i laughed out loud as well. Some of that ###### hilarious man. Thanks for posting that and good luck. That must be really hard to get upfront of people. I used to be ok to stand upfront in a classroom with 30 kids but it wasn't my favorite thing, i can't imagine doing that tho. Takes a serious skill.

I honestly, I'm way more comfortable on stage in front of a bunch of people than talking one on one with a girl. As sad as that is for a 26 year old dude.

Good stuff, Greg! I did stand-up twice in my life; I took a comedy writing class and to "graduate", we had to write and perform a five minute gig at a local comedy club. Fortunately, I did well so it was a positive experience, but it is a very scary feeling out there. You and a microphone in front of dozens of semi-drunk patrons all of whom are thinking, "Make me laugh, you son of a b..." All props to you for getting up there and doing it! Best of luck!

seriously. this is better than just about everything that i see while trolling cable. i can imagine how much work goes into creating a 6-7 minute set that is that polished and that funny. kudos.

p.s. but i persevered was really well-struck.

Johnny waves Greg over to sit down.

Pretty good stuff.

Kind of a Patton Oswalt vibe.

Without the vulgarity..

I've got to be honest, I listen to a lot of comics and a lot of comics' podcasts. You are funny, I had several laugh out louds. Hope you do well.

Well done, Greg! I see you're playing Awful Arthurs in Blacksburg, VA in May. I may just have to take a ride over there for the show.

Excellent! I'm in Blacksburg. Greg, if you remind me as the date approaches, I'll gladly get word out to people here. Best of luck to you!

Wow, thanks guys, I didn't honestly expect it to go over this well. Self esteem boost. Now only if Niedermayer could score life would be perfect. Ha.

And to the Virginia people, I usually get there a day early. If you wanna hang out, last time I was there I went to this bar that served a drink called the rail, i've never been so obliterated.

I liked all of it, except the drug dealer/fractions bit. That one fell a little flat.

if we're venturing into the realm of focus group feedback, i will second that sentiment.

a thought: would the joke work better if you were to do the initial bit about the teaching of fractions (which i thought was decent), but then acknowledge that the arrangement would never work because, inevitably, you'd later be talking with the daughter about whether she knows how to deal with an aggressive kid at school ("use your words" is the commonly communicated wisdom) and she'd instead observe -- super matter of factly, with a world-weary sigh -- that it's probably time to put a cap in his head.
