FWIW this validates some stories I was told a long time ago. I dated an East Aurora girl in seventies whose much older brother in previous years was said to have a summer job on the Knox's farm for a couple summers running. He said it was a great gig and it was Mrs Knox who mainly managed the assignments and she was a dish for an older lady. He said they let the help ride the horses and such just to get them some excercise around the work they had to perform with stables and farm. Said they were really down to earth great people. Never made much mind of it till I read this. Thanks for taking me back.
