bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 This has probably been posted already, but if not..... John Vogl of The Buffalo News reports here that the Buffalo Sabres are not planning to move forward Tim Connolly at the trade deadline. Vogl said at least one team called the Sabres about the center but was turned away. On Saturday, Sabres GM Darcy Regier spoke with WGR's Pat Malacaro, saying: "we've continued to take the approach if we're going to do anything it will be on the 'buy' side...not solely for now until the end of the season but for next season." I hate the fact Timmy isnt in play but if they move him they need centers in return
LabattBlue Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I hate the fact Timmy isnt in play but if they move him they need centers in return Have you watched him play this year? They are low on centers with or without him on this roster. IMO, he is not going to make a significant difference down the stretch or in the playoffs.
