The article is from today...

So, if you're able to shut down the top line  of Drury, Kotalik and Mike Grier, you better prepared to neutralize the second line of Maxim Afinogenov, rookie Thomas Vanek and Daniel Briere. And if they don't beat you, Tim Connolly, Jochen Hecht and J.P. Dumont are waiting to hop off the bench.

Did this guy do any research for the article. Somebody needs to tell him that Briere, Hecht & Dumont are lighting the NHL on fire as ONE line.

And goaltender Martin Biron, a guy who won 13-straight games in November and December, is now a backup.

Really? When WASN'T he the backup this year?

The Sabres seemed to find their game during that stretch, realizing that in the new NHL, speed kills.

Man, to be in the locker room when it dawned on the Sabres that, *GASP*, speed kills! I bet Briere and Drury had a team meeting, telling the guys to work on skating faster in practice.

Are we sure that this guy didn't just dust off an article from 1999, change the names, and replace the stuff about Hasek with a blurb about a two-headed monster?
